...I discovered some history to inthewire.com which was started off by David Mumm as diarymonster.com, but which went down due to non renewal of registration. The organisation though regarded highly for its defence of free speech, has been dogged by a sever lack of technical support and maintenance. Guess it has been struck again. Anyway this one was to get a real thumbs down.

"Does anyone know what happened to www.inthewire.com?" one website asked, I certainly didn't know, and was getting all the more intrigued by the illusive web site that did not seem to actually exist. The Blog of that name did not have an answer, and it had been lying open nearly a month. Obviously no one really cared!
I eventually found a couple of cached pages through google, and wow ………….
I can now see, why no-one really cared t find out what had happened to www.inthewire.com.

Does anyone know if inthewire.com will ever come back to life? I have a diary on it and would like to retrieve it. Yeah, I know, I should've made a back-up.
I guess the owner is tired of all the hassles and pouring money into a lost cause. But I'd bet there are many people like me who would at least like to download their writings. How about it, Dave? ...
