With a name like ISP Review, what would you expect the main thing on this site to be? Well, I thouhgt it would be reviews of various ISP's. Although the site does review some ISP's, it isn't the main part of the site. The site is basically a news site for UK internet related news. ISPreview.co.uk proclaims itself as 'Official UK Internet Service Provider Information Source'. The main page has a couple of news stories on it each day, which are all quite good, and relevant to the UK. However, as you start looking around on the internet, you will find that most of them are copied from sites such ... more

Ispreview.co.uk is one of the most comprehensive sites for anyone seeking information on choosing an isp or having problems with their internet connection. The website is extremely well laid out and very easy to navigate. The front page is filled with that latest news items from various sources and can be read in full without having to click on a link. Advantages Accurate, Informative, Helpful

ISPreview (ISPr) is far better than it was many years ago. It is full to bursting with new Internet/ISP related stories, whether copied or not, it is great to see them all in one place. 1. FORUMS I have been a member of this site for a couple of years and by being a member gives me access to the forums with the opportunity to write new threads and replies to topics ranging from ISP related problems, Internet queries, technical computer problems and general discussions. A load of childish drabble and gossip 23/08/2000

Disadvantages Un-newsworthy content, mainly based on gossip or copied from other sites

ISPreview claims to be the "Official UK Internet Service Provider Info. Source" when really it either copies news from other excellent news sources like TheRegister.co.uk and Net4Nowt.com, or it publishes so-called news by going on about his latest modifications to this computer or changes to the web site. Who's interested? If that isn't bad enough, the spelling and grammer in the stories are that of a 10 year-old. Maybe he is only 10 years-old? That's a thought. On top of that there are bugs in the homepage somewhere which often crashes my browser. All in all not one of the best sites in the ... more
