"Stuff You Don't need... but really, really want"

To sum up I Want One of Those (IWOOT) as a gadget or Adult toy shop doesn’t really credit the site enough. I feel IWOOT sum up the point of the shop pretty well in their own tagline “Stuff you don’t need… but really, really want” Ranging from ultra modern house hold furnishings to the most technologically advanced toys – everything for sale is non essential. However some of the unique, attention grabbing items for sale in IWOOT can’t help to tempt even the most restrained of shoppers.
The market of Adult Gadgets & Toys is far from an open one, and with rivals such as Firebox and Gadget Shop can IWOOT compete?
The IWOOT website has recently undergone a massive revamp. The new site design makes IWOOT much easier to browse and gives the site a much more modern and less cluttered look. The shop is separated into 7 main categories, which are - Gadgets, Electronics, Toys, Lifestyle, Outdoors, Office & Kitsch. You can also choose to browse the site only viewing items in your price range, the category price bands include under £10, £20 - £50 and the illustrious “No Limits”.
Each and every item on the site contains its own detailed description, picture(s) and customer feedback. If entered customer feedback can include a mini review or customer own pictures of the item in use. The customer feedback can be useful but bear in mind all feedback is moderated by IWOOT, so any negative feedback is unlikely to be shown.
After the initial “Wow” factor, felt when first browsing IWOOT the first thing that hits you is the relatively high prices of everything for sale. Bargain or low budget shoppers probably will not find a haven in IWOOT. Any item for sale in IWOOT that can also be purchased down your local high street, 9 times out of 10 will be cheaper down your local high street. The real point of IWOOT comes with its modern, innovative and sometimes exclusive items. Take for instance the inflatable chill room, retailing at over £100 it is by no means excellent value but it won’t stop thousands of shoppers rushing to the online checkouts for it. The Chill Out room is fun, modern, unique and most importantly, anything like it is virtually unavailable anywhere else.
A large portion of I want One of Those is made up of Adult Toys including items such as the remote control blimp and the highly recommended, and in this case excellent value Air Hockey Table (£69.99). Though as stated earlier IWOOT is more then just adult toys and items like the Solar Garden Light, Equilibrium Scales & Moon Estates (Full Review on Ciao) act to prove just that. The real gems of IWOOT however will be out of reach to many but dream purchases to those with enough to spend - hidden inside the IWOOT “No Limits” category lies the Fingerprint Lock, the Wireless Pen Camera and for only £199,000 a L39 Jet.
The IWOOT ordering policies are fairly typical for its market. For instance delivery is very prompt and reliable but the price you pay is representative.
