I'm a total addict when it comes to jigsaw puzzles and was searching the web one day when this site popped up. With a great range of sizes, shapes and designs this site is good fun for all ages.
When you first bring up the site it shows several different designs for you to sample. These are basic examples of what the site has to offer but new puzzles are designed and put on the site everyday to offer variation.
If none of the images on the right of the site take your fancy then there is also a 'puzzle of the day' . You can also select previous puzzles of the day to try but because of how long this option goes back in time then you could be choosing for a while!
Another good thing about this website is if you find a puzzle design you want to complete but it is too easy, hard or you are finding them all too repetitive, then you can change the shape of the peices from the basic classic cut, to lizards and letters. There is also a timer and a photo of the completed puzzle to help you or make you feel challenged.
There is also a membership option on this website which at the moment is free (Although I'm not sure if a fee has ever been required on this site). Membership gives you a few extra options including getting the puzzle of the day emailed to you or uploading your own pictures to turn into jigsaws.
Although this site is really fun then there are a few disadvantages. It can get quite tedious having to flick through about 3 different pages just to choose a puzzle each time you want to do a new one. Sometimes when there are alot of pieces then there isn't ebough room on the screen to sort them then fit them. The jigsaws can also seem quite repetitive once you'e done about 10. (which is quite easy considering each one only takes about 5 minutes to complete)
Overall I think you should give it a try. Even if you're not a big jigsaw lover then it can still seem amusing when you want to take a break from work, college etc.
Advantages: Very easy, fun for all ages, ideal for jigsaw lovers with limited space to do the traditional kind! Disadvantages: Takes up lots of time which could be spent writing ops for Ciao
I wanted to share one of my favourite websites with others who might enjoy this easy to use website full of beautiful jigsaw puzzles to do online. They have a selection of categories including animals and scenery and you can choose the shapes of the puzzles, the number of pieces and if you get stuck you can even get them to solve it for you!
But best of all you can make your own on line jigsaw puzzle and its really easy (it would have to be for ... ...scanned into your computer and instantly it is turned into a jigsaw which you can send to a friend as a postcard,or keep and solve yourself. Sounds a bit dull? Hey don't knock it until you've tried it, it's the ultimate, mindless, time consuming relaxation technique. I am now addicted to my free daily jigsaw e-mailed to me each day, and the friends I have sent jigsaw postcards to have been impressed too. Imagaine if you want to e-mail a photo of ...
