Its a jungle in there...

Advantages Prices
Disadvantages Slow in almost every respect. Shop around. There is better out there.
I started using Jungle the first month they went online, and have given them more chances since - After all their prices are often quite competetive. Unfortunately the overall experience is fairly poor. Yes, another rant...
*** Site look and feel...On a first visit, the curvy lines and in-your face green-graphics provide an unexpectedly pleasant place to stop and browse a while... Unfortunately, this warm snug feeling doesn't last long.
A little browsing leads to a couple of possible purchases being considered, which leads you to the registration process. I really thought that this would have been improved by now (I just re-checked it) but alas, I was still defeated; They insist on requesting your home phone number... I NEVER give out my home phone number... My mother doesn't have my home phone number!!! But you cannot register on their site without it.[ Oh, I forgot... You can lie about you home phone number if you want to get registered ;-) ]
Will they ever learn? The site felt generally sluggish on a standard modem-speed line, but this is basically due to the number of graphics on the site, and broadband does improve this.
*** Navigation...The front page offers a whole raft of products, none of which I want, and all of which slow down the site load time. I am led to believe that if I order lots of products from them then the listed products are tuned to my liking. I fear I'll never know the truth of this.
The search engine did find what I wanted, but is very fussy, and will often fail to find items that they do have in stock without some extra coaxing and re-wording. Some of the product information is missing too (usually only on new products, but I'm a buyer of new products :-), even the one line description can leave you wondering if you're about to buy the book, video, DVD or T-shirt.To demonstrate this, I tried searching for the "Harry Potter" game, to be presented with two "HP" printer products (I suppose H and P ARE his initials!) and a Harry Potter lego set. :)
More recently, the "add a review" helps and the "Info" button will SOMETIMES even tell you something more about the product.*** Delivery options...
Then, my favourite gripe. Their delivery company (Not to be named here) is DIRE! They seem to have very few depots in the UK, so if they miss delivery you have to jump through hoops to get the product you've paid for. Jungle claim that orders
