I have enrolled, through the benefits office, for a forklift drivers course.
I also had to sit the maths and English assessment... I did well in both and was given the option to train further in maths or English (compulsory).
I selected maths and sat a maths diagnostic course.
I did so well.. in fact I only got on question wrong (an error due to ambiguity).
Or to sum it up differently, they can not offer a forklift driving course if you are GOOD at maths.
This is tax payer funded and government approved.
