I have used Lego.com on numerous occasions when I have had difficulty sourcing a product, especially around the Christmas Period. The site itself is very easy to use and is bright and colourful. You have a choice of about 20 countries to view availability from, and also a few languages. Obviously in my case it was English and UK, and you have the facility to search for a product or browse by Age, Theme, Category and Catalogue. Once you find your product you can add it to your cart. You then get an option to continue browsing or to complete the sale. If you complete the sale you are asked for ... more

Background Lego was formed by a Dane, Ole Kirk Christiansen in the 1930's. The name stems from the Danish "leg godt" or play well. Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor customer service

Lego.com: I am a huge Lego fan even as a grownup I love Lego and every year I get the other half some Lego for Christmas. This year I decided to order from Lego.com thinking that they would be somehow ‘better’ than a reseller and that the transaction would be smoother using a massive company such as Lego and basically cutting out the middle man, I was wrong and I wish I had used Amazon. The Lego website is very colourful and it is definitely aimed at children which is pretty much what you expect really. There are loads of games and fun things to do as well as the all important shopping bit and ... more

Lego has been around for so long now, I wonder if there are any parents or even grandparents out there who didn't play with it when they were growing up. It's always been a brilliant "toy" for young children, encouraging them to construct not just buildings, but vehicles, figures, all sorts of things. Well, Lego has progressed over the years, and this site reflects it's many facets. You can check out the 3 Legoland theme parks, in Denmark, California and the UK and plenty of information to help you plan a trip there. There are educational pages, ideas for using Lego, and areas for parents and ... more
