Like many people I was introduced to this site a year ago when those adverts with the little ants were on TV. I thought the collective buy ethos was a neat idea so I checked out the web site, expecting there to be a big catch. But there wasn't. The site is well designed and well explained. It's simple to start an account and your account manager pages are easy to access, and give you all the info you need. The co-buys also look very attractive. When LetsBuyIt.com first started advertising on tv I was on their site like a rocket. For those who don't know what LetsBuyIt.com is all about, it's a website that offers money off all types of goods - the amount being dependent on the number of people who choose to buy the goods. I have only had one experience with Letsbuyit.com and I can clearly and without doubt say it will be the last experience I ever have with them. Two weeks ago, I joined a co-buy for a 28inch widescreen Samsung tv at an amazing £279.(after trawling the internet for the model elsewhere I could only find the next cheapest to be £344 so I thought this was a price to grab and quick!!) Well, I was sucked into the (I admit very good) idea of purchasing something. For a bargain. No hassle. To my door. After much searching around to see what they had, I plumped on two items. One I received quicker than promised. I was so impressed. Particularly with all the negative publicity surrounding the 'collapse', 'bankruptcy', whatever.
