Well, I was sucked into the (I admit very good) idea of purchasing something. For a bargain. No hassle. To my door.
After much searching around to see what they had, I plumped on two items.
One I received quicker than promised. I was so impressed.
Particularly with all the negative publicity surrounding the 'collapse', 'bankruptcy', whatever.
Sadly, it has all gone downhill since and I am terribly unhapy and unimpressed with the horrific level of service I have received.
It appears that someone there feels that such a good job was made of delivering my first item so punctually (in fact EARLY), it is unnecessary to deliver my further item at all!
I had purchased both just around Christmas. Both offers closed at the end of the month and, I was promised that, the items would be sent to me on the day of closing (with a 10 days maximum delivery wait).
Of course I was pleasantly surprised to receive the first so soon, but OVER ONE MONTH LATER, I am STILL to receive the second.
Emails have been sent to several email addresses, helpfully displayed on their (amazingly slow/crashing)website. However, I am still awaiting a response (to ANY of my queries!).
And what makes the whole situation even better (not), is LetsBuyIt.com have charged my card for BOTH items.
As a site, LBI.com is of a good standard, despite the immensely sloth-like rate of page download. Good navigation, etc, etc. Yet the real point of the site is to group-buy items at a bargain price. In this the site has failed miserably.
Someone please tell me WHERE I might find my missing purchases?
