Lightspeed began by offering points to be entered into a prize draw in return for completing surveys. More recently (July 2006), they have followed other similar survey sites in offering points that can be redeemed for vouchers.

As a registered user of Lightspeed you will receive invitations to complete surveys. Each survey will indicate the number of redeemable points and the number of prize draws entries you will receive on completing a survey. Note that you might start a survey but not qualify to complete it because you do not meet the demographic that the survey is aiming for.

The website is easy to follow. Any open surveys are displayed on your home page and points you accumulated can be easily reviewed.

Last year I wrote about problems with redeeming points from Lightspeed. It had taken two or three months to received awards. More recently (Jan 2007) Lightspeed seem to have change the supplier of their rewards. This has increased the speed of delivery and the range of rewards available (e.g. Paypal Cash, Amazon and HMV e-vouchers amongst others). For example today I ordered an Amazon voucher and received it within 30 minutes.

Given these improvements I would now recommend lightspeed.
