Advantages: free to use Disadvantages: books can take a while to sell
After browsing the net and looking for books, I came across this site where you can sell books for free. www.listbooks.co.uk I sell a lot of books on Ebay and although it goes quite well I find that sometimes the costs can out weight the reason for doing the selling, what with paypal charges and then listing charges on eBay as well as the final charge for selling, it sometimes means you end up with little profit for all your efforts. Now this relatively ... ...time for changes to the way we sell our books. After all in this present credit crunch climate we all need to earn as many pennies as we possibly can.

Advantages: No listing fees and reasonable postage costs. Disadvantages: Odd listings and waiting for contact from sellers.
I have been a member of listbooks since November 2005, after I read an excellent review about it in Ciao. There is no hope of me competing with this review but I'd like to share with you my experience of using this site.

Advantages: No fees whatsoever to pay Disadvantages: The site is new so it's slow to sell your books
I love books. I read all the time and when I've finished I like to try and sell them so I can recoup some of my outlay and buy some more! I use both Amazon Marketplace or Ebay when buying or selling books. Both are excellent 'markets' for buying and selling - but using them can knock a big percentage off your final sale price.
When selling on either of these giant marketplaces, the big drawback is that one way or another you will find what little ... ...insertion fees and/or final selling fees plus VAT.
When buying with ebay or Amazon, after you've added the postage & packing charges , what you thought was cheap, turns out to be more expensive than you'd 'bargained' for.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT LIST BOOKS?
SELLING:
Here is a site where you can list your books for sale at a price you think is reasonable and with postage costs you think are fair - and best of all, it is completely free. You want ...
