I bought a bathroom cabinet from Littlewoods Online this summer. The cabinet was OK, in fact better than I was expecting for the money. The service from Littlewoods was frustratingly poor. The problems started because the couriers noticed that the cabinet was damaged before it got to me. They returned it and we got a replacement. So far, so good. Unbeknown to me Littlewoods automatically refund payments if a customer returns a product. As the couriers ... ...started getting statements it took me a while to realise what had happened. I paid the money but somehow this was lost at Littlewoods. I contacted Littlewoods to try to sort this out but they couldn't find the payment. Fortunately my bank was able to provide them with sufficient details to track it down. The sinister bit is that I started getting hourly "silent" calls. Eventually a Littlewoods accounts persons spoke to me and admitted that the calls ...

Advantages: Credit allows you to spread the cost Disadvantages: some things are alot more expensive than in the shops.
This is a very good site if you want to either buy clothes outright or if you want to get a credit account to buy things on credit without interest over 20 weeks. You get a monthly statement with a payment which needs to be made, a minimum paymet or a full payment. It is a good system but if you have no credit score due to never having credit or bad credit, you have no chance of been accepted by littlwoods or their sister company Kays. Plus, if your ... ...can no longer use any credit on the account (trust me it happened to me when I was late with a payment of just £8 they stopped me from buyikng anything else!!) so you do have to keep up with the payments, but it has a large range of items from clothes furniture , electricals. One thing i would mention though, if your buying outrught...go to a shop....you pay quite high prices on there for things, which is ok if your buying on credit as it normally ...

I signed up to littlewoods at the end of last year. I only really came across it because I was looking for a red venetian blind. Simple request you would think? No, I searched every shop and scoured every website, even ebay only had them in 2ft long. Until I came across Littlewoods, who had blinds in every imaginable size and colour! Hurrah! Better yet, they had an offer on for £15 off your first shop of £25 or more. bargain. I have used ittlewoods ... ...2 gorgeous cream leather bedside tables which were priced at £29.99 each yet in the sale they were reduced to £8 each, brilliant. Littlewoods is a website but they also send out catalogues, I constantly get stopped by market researchers in my town centre asking about Littlewoods and if I would like a catalogue. They mostly sell womens, mens and childrens clothes and shoes but the also sell a bit of everything else. A bit like the argos catalogue, ...

Customer service nightmare is pretty much the first thing that comes to mind.
I've had a littlewoods account for a couple of years only ordered a few sheets etc. but we were looking to redo my sons bedroom for his birthday. I found a set I liked on littlewoods website so, as usual did a price check to see if I could get a similar product cheaper.
The search brought up a very strange result.......
Apparently it seemed that there were two companies ... ...but different prices. One companie was www.littlewoods.com and the other was www.littlewoodsdirect.com Anyway I figured that it must be the same company but maybe just a special addition or something, so I clicked on the cheaper ( direct) and logged on to order the bedroom set. It seems my littlewoods account is not valid so I just signed up again.
