 LOVE IT! 

I was suppose to start this review a few weeks ago but to be honest I forgot all about writing it because there were so many other items of interest to write about so here’s my review on Love It! Magazine.

I not one for reading magazines as I prefer reading books when I have the time, but while visiting my parents recently I picked up a magazine called Love It! And I think it’s a great magazine for any adult age and any household it’s suitable for both men and women.

So what’s in it?

 REAL LIFE 

Well for a start there’s plenty of real life nitty gritty drama about real people and their lives, in this issue I’ve just read about a girl who was bullied and now she’s a man.
I really admire people who have the guts to share their stories because I’m a believer in people like this really do help other people face their problems, especially if their too shy to talk to someone like their family.

In this issue there are 11 real life stories on people and their lives. It does vary from divorces, murder, I ran of with my boyfriends sister to sex changes.

 FASHION 

I’m not into fashion but there are 2 pages of bright coloured clothes and suitable accessories such as jewellery, handbags and shoes all are with prices and where to buy them from. The good thing is the prices are very reasonable with products from ASDA, Marks & Spencer and Next.

 HEALTH 

This is one of my favourite sections because at some point through life you think ‘oh that’s what I had’ or ‘I’m too scared to visit the doctor in case they laugh’. There’s a full page on a viewers problems and how they dealt with the situation in hand, there is a page on Dear Doctor and his replies to viewers followed by a couple of pages on Sex Confidential and help lines.

 BEAUTY 

In the beauty section there is a couple of pages on various beauty products and top tips on how to use them. The product they are advertising comes complete with nice photographs, prices, a list of stockists and telephone/web details.

 CONSUMER 

Another one my favourite sections, it’s a bit like a mini Ciao, There is a panel of 4 people who rate a product and give it marks out of 5. There are plenty of photographs, prices and a quick review on each product, normally the test is carried out on 3 different varieties of one product. The items can be any product and vary from biscuits to can openers.

 TRAVEL 

This is like a mini travel brochure advertising one destination. In this copy Love It! are advertising a holiday to Vienna. There are some lovely photographs of the city as well a section on where to eat, what to buy, where to stay and getting there as well as the most important bit – the price of the holiday and where to book it.

 CELEBRITY 

Not only does it talk about everyday lives of people but there’s an interview on a popular celebrity – I’ve just read about dishy Lee Sharpe.

 PUZZLES AND OFFERS 

For all you puzzle lovers there’s 4 pages of puzzles where you can play for fun or play for real and win prizes or money. The puzzles include Sudoku, Word search (win £1000), Arrow word and crosswords.

 LOVE IT! FAVOURITES 

Every week in this magazine you get the same weekly slots; here are some more examples of what’s in Love It!

The contents page is a must in any magazine; after all you need to find what you’re looking for….

As well as the contents there’s all the photographs, short tales, a section for kids and jokes on what people have been up to – best of all if your short stories and photos are submitted you can get up to £100.00 per story.

Love It! Letters section – here you submit your letters if you fancy having a moan.

Ask Cilla – Gosh I never knew Cilla Black was an agony aunt! She’s here to give a lorra lorra advice on all your problems as well as Cilla’s advice lines.

Win the Lot – If you fancy your chances you can win everything on this page! In the magazine there’s a chance to win a hamper, cocktail goodies (I just need the 2 lads from Britain’s Top Talent Show to show me how to make a cocktail).

Cut out & Keep Tips – Well what can I say about this except you get paid £60.00 for a tip and the crap some people offer is ridiculous.

This is a tip I’ve just read “A handy vase, got a bouquet of flowers – cut the top of a cola bottle and stick them in” £60.00 for that – That’s better then writing reviews for Ciao.

Kids Dinners - four mouth watering recipes for kids which look healthy and very appealing – yum yum

Street Psychic – Wow this woman is brilliant, Jayne Wallace a clairvoyant travels to places over the UK and picks 5 passers-by from the street to read their destiny. Every week I read this section and each reader rates her between 4 and 5 out of 5 – so she must be bloody good.

Real-life Diary – 2 pages on a ‘normal person’ telling their diary of advents from day to day life.

Your Stars – Personally I hate reading horoscopes because I think there the biggest tish thing going! Come on with all the millions of people in the UK the stars are going to be right for someone!

 OVERALL OPINION 

Throughout the magazine there is plenty of coloured photographs, lots of useful information and a list of stockist so you know where to buy most items from, the magazine is very cheap and well worth spending 60p on after all there is 68 pages to get through.

If you write in with your true story you can earn up to £250.00 so it’s a pity I don’t have a story to write in otherwise I would be quid’s in.

I would certainly recommend this to any person especially if you are going on holiday or a trip in the car or train as it would take you an hour or two to read it fully.

You can also subscribe so it is delivered to you every week but if you do subscribe there is no extra discount for paying up front.
