You enter your profile, and a picture if you wish.
You have the choice on entering 5 ... ...your fire.
You get to enter some comments about yourself, and they also provide a guestbook for visitors to sign.
Just enter your search criteria in the engine, and click to find a friend.

There are chats, forums, interest groups and horoscopes!
They also give you a free Lycos email address if you do not wish anyone to contact you to your default email addy.
There is also the option of a Voicemail number, for people to call up and leave you a message, (free to set up, but it does cost 60p per minute to call).
They have an SMS service too, to text people you make friends with!
Its a great site. Join up and start making friends!
Advantages: Good Fun regardless of what you want from it. Disadvantages: There are some wierd people out there
Whether you are looking for love or just want to have sone flirty fun this is the place to go. Once you're registered you are shown your 5 top matches, and 5 biggest clashes. You can then either start looking for someone, by name, age, location, and leave a message in their guest book, or you can go to the chatrooms and meet up with a host of random people (most of whom should probably be working) and start chatting. David and Goliath...who said Romance is dead!!? Over 1500 users of one of Britain's most popular internet dating sites are up in arms against changes which have been introduced recently by site management. Previously free features have become available to only paying customers, leaving the free section a pale shadow of it's former self. These changes have been implemented on LOVE@LYCOS in what appears to be a rather cynical attempt to get users to ... ...which has always been advertised on the strength of this fact. Most of the previously available features which made the site a success have been moved over to the new Deluxe version which is a pay-site.
Over 1500 members, including a significant number of those with the deluxe package,(of a site which despite figures advertising 500,000+ members, actually rarely has more than 2000 online at one time) have come together as a group calling with one ...
