www.mail2web.com is one of the handiest web sites i've come across. If you need to check your e-mail account from anywhere in the world then this is the place to do it. All you need to do is enter your e-mail address and the password for your mail account and up pops a list of all the e-mails waiting for you. If you have trouble logging into your mail account then you can try using the advanced login. For this you will need to enter your pop3 server, user ID/Login name and password.

Once you've got the list of e-mails waiting for you, you can either read the e-mails, delete them or compose a new e-mail to send to somebody. This service can prove really useful if somebody has sent you an e-mail with a large attachment that won't download properly through your normal e-mail client or if you are having problems downloading certain e-mails. All you need to do is login to your account on here and then simply delete the problematic e-mail.

If you are worried about the security issues then you can login using the secure login pages. If you are still not to sure about the security aspects then a read of the Privacy Policy should put your mind at ease. I use this site a heck of a lot and I have never had any problems at all.

The site now also has some other great services on offer including mail2pda, mail2wap and news2web. The best thing about the service is that it is completely free. The site is also fast loading and you don't get hundreds of adverts thrown at you either. A fantastically useful site and well worth using.

Souns like a handy little site to know. In a way, I'm doing something similar by getting Hotmail to pick up my POP3 mail when I'm away, and getting OE to pick up my Hotmail when I'm at home. Thanks. Chris

Never heard of these before so thanks for the info. Elle.

Sounds like a great site. Brill tip about big attachments, I am always having to wait 3 hours to see who has sent me a bloody huge attachment. I will give this a try! Cheers....Darren
