Mail.com is another web based email service like Hotmail, Yahoo, Excite, Bigfoot etc. So why choose Mail.com over any of those?
Well for one thing what do you want from your email? A secure retrievable service. Maybe something memorable as an email address? Well you could choose from several occupations, say like fredsmith@engineer.com - or say you are a Londoner, you could have fredsmith@london.com. Not bad is it - surely a bit more personal than fredsmith@hotmail...yeah?
Anyway that's just one thing. Why choose a webmail rather than your ISP's regular email service? For one thing suppose your ISP ups its price and you want to move to another rival service (as we have done with AOL and moved to NTL where it's free 24/7), then you've got to change your email address. You may not be able to have the same name even.
If you used to be fredsmith@aol.com and change to say NTL, they may already have a Fred Smith registered and you may have to be FSmith@... or even worse. With a system like Hotmail who have so many members worldwide - what are the chances of you getting your own name....at all? OK That's if you want it, but at least you have a choice. With a webmail you keep your email address forever.
Also suppose you are joining a reward/collection scheme like beenz or a Paid for clicks/Paid for email scheme or any kind of reward system which entails you signing up for stuff. Do you want your primary email server stuffed with junk mail? No, well open a web mail account like Mail.com, for free and free up your primary account.
You get a mailbox of 5mb, which is big enough to store plenty of mail. Add to that the regular features like create your own folders, add to your address book, send attachments (photos, documents and so on) etc.
It's certainly comparable with other systems and is well established so you have no problems with it being 'here today - gone tomorrow'. PLUS you don't get as much Spam as you get from hotmail! Another plus point surely. I could go into more detail, but just take a look yourself Anyway give it a look, sign up - you will find you will use it, I'm sure

I'll give it a shot as the spam @ HOTMAIL is too much and can get you up to the limit if you don't clear it often.
Thanks.
