...Well, I have a spare mailcity address which I rarely use for anything, and I've given the address out to maybe a few dozen contacts, none of them newsletters or large companies. Yet, I logged on this morning to check my nice mail account, after 3 weeks of not looking, and ugh! I nearly had a heart attack. I had 78 messages about "hot sexy teens" and "barely legal babes". I'm a barely legal babe myself, I don't need to look at ... .../>
Disadvantages of Mailcity :
-Well, the email address isn't that interesting, yourname@mailcity.com isn't that exciting when another.com offers thousands of more interesting and personal addresses.
-Stating the obvious - all this porn spam!! And the signup agreement offers "Advanced Spam Controls - protect yourself against unwanted email" which doesn't seem to have worked for me.

Disadvantages of Mailcity :
-Well, the email address isn't that interesting, yourname@mailcity.com isn't that exciting when another.com offers thousands of more interesting and personal addresses. -Stating the obvious - all this porn spam!! And the signup agreement offers "Advanced Spam Controls - protect yourself against unwanted email" which doesn't seem to have worked for me. -The server is also down a lot, there are often disconnections whilst I'm logged on, connections errors, or system unavailable errors. There are never apologies or reasons for these from mailcity (that I've received, anyway.) -Very slow to load.
Advantages of Mailcity :
-It comes with 15mb of space (but that does get filled up quick with porn mail!) -You can download an aim style messenger, which isn't that bad, but considering all the other messengers out, isn't worth signing up for by itself. -A voice messenger (but I haven't tried it) -Well, it is free you know, and some people actually want this porn stuff…
Whislt mailcity isn't absolutely appalling, I have suffered enough inconvenience from not being able to log on, and then getting my mailbox filled up with junk, to make me consider doing the sensible thing, and find another suitable email address.
...Is it safe? Mailcity is not under too much pressure from hackers, unlike HOTMAIl, on that account mailcity is thoroughly reccommended. What cool features does it have? You can have multiple email folders and have additional features like spell check, address book and a host of other services. It also has POP accessibility.. Which means you can read mail sotred onto other servers using mail city!!! Also included is SPAM mail filterer. Is it fast? ... ...ones. User interface? Briliant and intuitive. Even a beginner can customise their setup and login page. Memory space.. Currently you have 4 megs of space. Can i send attachments? Absolutely, send what you like as long as the recipient has space available on their server. Any disadvantage? Only one. Recently i had to wait 46 hrs to get a mail, that i sent to myself. ...When you join up with mailcity which is free like many web based e-mails you get 15mb free space for your e-mails, which is quite a lot. You can downloads messenger, have free voicemail and even free wireless access. However, the problem with mailcity e-mail is that on weekends it’s s busy or the network is down you can never get in. It’s such a pain if you want to check your mail. A big problem to have. So, I’d stay away, e-mail service is good ...

Advantages: Free easy to use, easy to sign up, can access from any computer that is linked to the internet anywhere. Disadvantages: sometimes logging in problems
As a computing student I needed an email account that I could get to at home and at college, so I signed up for mailcity.
This service allows you 6MB of space in your Mailbox, allows you to send attachments with your emails up to 4MB in size, has good address book facilities and even a spellchecker. It also allows you to block spam.
Sounds good doesn't it!
Well it is most of the time. But I have experienced some problems during my three years ... ...ON. The times I type in the correct password and user name and it either tells me I've put the wrong one in or goes to a page display error page. However you do get there eventually but it can get very frustrating.
Another problem I encountered was with sending email attachments. I've had a number of times when the email has got there but the attachment has not followed with it.
Other people have said that a lot of junk gets through this mail service. ...

I have been a member of mailcity.com for quite a while now, although I do think that it some major problems:
-it can be so slow, and you can’t access your e-mail, which be frustrating,
-the amount of junk mail you receive is huge, I have about 10 junk messages a day.
But, it does offer you 15mb of free storage which is quite a lot of e-mail space and you can manage your mail, voicemail all from here. There’s also voicemail where you ... ...give you a local number to call and hear your voice messages They also have an instant messenger, where you can have instant chat with people, and there’s also free wireless access which mean you can check your messages on your mobile. I think it provides good e-mail service, it’s just a pity it can be slow at times. ...

Advantages: Good formated to display emails Disadvantages: Some time error to delete some files
...back to check email button. It's not effective, I wish the system automaticly to refresh all display which is updated not back to check email again. So now I never using the mailcity again. I don't know may be if the system already repaired and good I'll back using it. ...

Loading errors and invite friends doesn't work. NOTE: for just below, navigtion is overall excellent, but cos of load probs, only gets good for when (*)
