www.mapblast.com provides you with accurate interactive maps and driving directions, and information on services and products near to your travel route or address. There is information on local points of interest, traffic reports, and reservation capabilities.
Although this is a US-based website, there is a whole list of Countries to look through to find maps for. This is handy if you are going on holiday somwhere. There is a list of US airport cities. Just click on the Country required, and type in the city, state or zip code, and click on 'create map'. And the map will appear. You can print the map, save it, or email it to someone. There is also a section called 'Show these places on my map'. Scroll down the list of options, like hotels, food halls, gas stations etc, and it will come up with a list of stores in that town or area.
You can join mapblast, and save all your maps, addresses and trips for free. Mapblast is free to join. Just fill out the form supplied, giving a username, password, address and email address etc.
You can also find hotels and B & B's, travel discounts and buy business books etc.

It's an interesting website to visit, and extremely handy if you're going somewhere you've never been before, and want to get directions of the area. There are maps for virtually anywhere, and it's handy to print out a map before hand so you know where you are going! And, what's more, it's all free!!

This site is an excellent way of showing distances, time, and routes to and from all sorts of places all over the world. When you first enter the site your first impression is that it is only for the United States. But this is untrue. There are 2 areas to complete: 1) The "From" address. 2) The "To" address. These areas are nicely colour-coded for ease of use.To detail your route you follow easy steps as follows: 1) First use the drop-down arrow ... ...name. Then enter either the city, state/county, post-code or zip-code or go to the airport city code (United States only). 2) The "To" address procedure is entered as in the previous paragraph. You then select the directions format. A) Line directions. This identifies road names in straight lines and distances from start to finish. B) Standard directions. This shows the route in map form. Going for A to B and unsure which is the best way..Try this site. Very easy to use site. Just type in where you are and where you want to go (inclding any stop-overs) and they supply not only a printable map but stage by stage printable directions. It can be use world wide.
