My friend has been planning her trip around America, and together we found this site, and it goes one step further than the others, it can search maps all over the world. You simply click on maps, chose your country, put in the postal code, and their you have a map of the place you wanted. And it can do this if you have names of streets in other places.
Then you can get directions to the location, you can zoom in, and send in on to your WAP phone. This sit is excellent if you are travelling and have a WAP phone, you can do this and get to your place much faster. And you can do this to anywhere in the world.
This site is American orientated so if you wanting to plan a trip around a certain area, this is the thing, you can get directions from one address to another. You can even select the city for which you would like to view a live report, but again this is more American based. However it is excellent if you want to go on holiday and need a route planner. Like I said my friend has just gone to America for three weeks, and this was very helpful.
This site can help you if you live in England but it’s more for planning a journey abroad. The layout of the site is pretty average and nothing special. However it is fast to navigate and planning your routes is simple.
We are planning on going to America in the Summer and if you want some preparation this is an excellent site to make sure you don’t get lost. It is accurate for England and only time and experience will tell if that will be the case for the States. Overall a very good site and one that will come in handy to me and has come in handy to my cousin who rates it highly.
