Disadvantages Scammers
I first saw a TV ad for match.com a few months ago, and signed up with them. I found it to be a waste of time, as you cannot read or reply to messages unless you pay for their services. They charge extortionate amounts for this service, and then instead of genuine women sending messages to you, I found that a lot of Scammers from Russia and Nigeria were trying to ask men for money and a way into the UK. Most dating sites have the same sort of people operating under many different names. If you find yourself in this situation, and someone from abroad messages you, ask them to send you by email a copy of their passport. If they cannot provide this for you, cease any contact and report them to your local police
