I ordered a phone through these people based on their prices and the fact they promise it would be delivered following day. As I ordered it in the morning I thought this would happen. It did not arrive and I have spent approximately 12 hours trying to get through to their customer services - it is either engaged or you are left queuing for a very long time with no way of knowing where you are in the queue or how much longer you have to wait. Whilst the deals on the site look good the premise of cash back is based on the fact that people will make mistakes or have trouble following their system which is designed not to be straight forward. ...have been trying to contact mobiles.co.uk and sometimes been holding for 45 minutes + without getting an answer. They are quick enough to take peoples money and sign them up to 18 month contracts but you can forget about any aftercare or customer service because it simply doesn't exist. In what now seems to be a common complaint (wish i'd read this forum before ordering), their big selling point of "guaranteed next day delivery" is a great big lie. I ordered Friday at 1pm, with the promise of next day delivery. Nothing. Monday - nothing. Now Wednesday and still not a peep. I received a nice confirmation e-mail on Friday, before 4pm, telling me that the phone had dispatched. I called them Saturday (day of supposed arrival) lunchtime ...
...someone answered. Only to be told that it was with Royal Mail so there was nothing they could do and it should be here Monday (naturally, it wasn't). I fired off a stroppy e-mail complaint - they apologised but reiterated that there was nothing they could do, and that i could escalate the complaint if required. I recently ordered a new mobile from these, it arrived next day but didn't work. I tried contacting them by phone on 3 occasions, with an average waiting timeof 40 minutes before getting to speak to someone. They told me to send it back by special delivery and they would refund the postage, I have faxed them the receipt ,as instructed, twice and I'm still waiting for the refund. The order included automatic cashback of £240 which should have arrived ...
