Advantages Quickish delivery; price

Disadvantages Staffed by idiots, CS phone line rings and rings and rings, c**k up after c**k up on simple orders!

    Quick delivery; terrible...

I really wouldn't recommend anyone deals with the Carphone Warehouse group in general. I had a real issue getting the original iPhone they sent me working (mobiles.co.uk- part of the CG group). It took 2 months of ringing their phone lines and even a visit to a store to get their staff to try to get through to their own CS lines (it took 35 minutes and he still couldn't get the issue resolved) and I only finally got the issue sorted after posted a negative comment on moneysavingexpert.com.

A couple of years later, I then foolishly let them extend my contract for a reduced cost for another 24 months when they rung me up (they were trying to get me to upgrade, but the iPhone 4 was fine). They sent me a normal SIM for an iPhone (it takes a micro SIM!), plus a cheap Nokia phone, insured the wrong phone and then two months later of trying to find time to hang onto their phone lines for 1/2 hour each time to get through, I finally speak to a guy called 'Norbert' (made up name?) and am told he'll ring Orange and get back to me. 5 hours later, no response. I'm intending to simply cancel my contract with them as they're in breach as far as I'm concerned. Avoid. They're a incompetent joke.
