I wanted to take the time to write this review about www.moneysavingexpert.com website
I had initially visited the site in the past but thought it was just a 'junk' web site until a friend recommended it to me.

Having taken the time to navigate through the web site I have found much information to my advantage.

The main purpose of the web site itself is to advise people of financial issues in many different aspects with the aim of reducing your costs. These include:

Credit Cards
Shopping
Phones & Utilities
Savings & Investments
Loans & Banking
Insurance
Travel & Transport
Mortgage & Homes

Within the sections mentioned above, there are sub sections of various issues.
For example in the Loans & Banking section there are sub sections regarding personal loans, bank accounts, interest rate and so on.
I believe that there are many areas of the site that will be of interest to all types of people. For example if you are a home owner and are responsible for bill there are many money saving tips.
Since there is so much to take in, I would recommend that you ensure that you allow sufficient time to go through the pages. Of course there will be information that you already know, but I'm confident enough to say that you will learn a thing or two, unless you are a financial advisor!

The web site can be overwhelming at first, since there are many links on the home page itself.

The site is helpful if there is a service or product that you are actually looking for, such as a credit card with cheap interest rates, otherwise you may find that the information is of no interest to you.

A significant part of the site is the forum section. As with the main part of the site, there are sub sections in the forum in regards to many different areas. The forum allows you to understand things in more depth since as you are sharing other people knowledge and experiences. If you register, which can be done for free, you can post your own queries or replies. This is one of the finest part of the sites since you are discussing topics with real people and its administrators.
The quality of information found on the forums could be arguable, the credibility of the information in the forums may not be so feasible. I am not saying this because I have had a bad experience, just simply pointing it out. Nevertheless , this is a discussion and people are allowed their point of view and at the end of the day you are only looking for information

An interesting part of the section is the 'Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping and Fantastic Freebies' section. Within this section you will find the following sub sections to name a few
Shop but don't drop
Quick! Grabbit while you can
Discount Codes 'n Vouchers (online & offline)

The first 2 sections have deals available online or in high street stores. This is very handy, especially at this time of the year (Christmas!) since users will post promotions that they have found. Many of us like to shop, and is a place I always visit before making a purchase.

The last section contains information relating to discounts available, mostly at online retailers.

To those that are familiar with the site will agree that there is so much information to be found and review it all would take a long time.

There are so many areas of the web site that I have not checked myself, it really is a place that you need to visit yourself.

So to conclude, I would say that this is handy web site for information to support the reduction rate of your bank balance.

If you have time on your hands, then take the time to go through the site. I am sure there will be something that you will find of interest to you!
