Advantages Great idea for cheapskates, wide selection of files, different types of files
Disadvantages Speed depends on others, some not very nice stuff out there

Many programs have been called ‘the new Napster’, but how many of them actually deserve the title? Well I think that this time I really have found one that can live up to the title, truly this one is up to the name. It goes by the name of Morpheus, and I can say that, since Napster that this is up to all the calls and comparisons. Advantages Ability to disconnect mid transfer and carry on where you left off. This will find 1000's of files for your searches and downloads quickly no matter what rate your computer is.
Disadvantages Search can sometimes be a bit slow if the server is overloaded.

For the many people who knew and loved Napster then Morpheus is definately the best replacement out there for it. Morpheus works a lot like Napster but instead of sharing files between users only, It gets it files from online users and searches the whole of the Internet for a match. The software is very much like Napster was, and it incorporates a player capable of playing video and sound files. If you are reading this opinion, chances are you have used or at least heard of the famous program Napster. Since Napster was closed due to court restrictions, people all over the world have been looking for replacement programs to share audio file. All I can say is - Look no further, Morpheus is by far the best file-sharing program I have come across. So what is a file-sharing program? NOTE: As yet they have not been hit by any of the Napster stuff and it's easy to track down particular songs, artists and albums. You can also track down video , software and more Napster reborn? Morpheus Earns The Title New Napster 09/02/2002

Advantages The advantages are clear,this program is easy peasy to use and navigate
Disadvantages The only disadvantage is the slow connection speed on the initial start-up

After using Napster for the whole of it's entire reign over all such file sharing programs,I was dismayed when it was finally closed for business. Morpheus is obviously the way forward,it has a clear understandable interface which is just simplicity in its self, I have a ten year old daughter who uses it with total ease,I would point out though that some of the search results can be pretty freaky and lewd, don't be put off by this though as you can change the settings within the program to a more family friendly mode.
