Here an A-Z of every film listed on this site, the date it was added, the date it was updated and how many mistakes have been listed. Plus a tick in any particular letter denotes new additions have been added.
2.Top Films –
Top films gives you the films with the most blunders in and top of the list is one of my favourites…Titanic romping home in number 1 position with 123 mistakes so far!. One of them being:
*Young Rose has green eyes, but old Rose has Blue, later on in the film there is a fade between young and old Rose’s faces, and this time old Roses eyes have magically changed to match Kate Winslet’s eyes…. *
Second to Titanic Is The Matrix, one particularly bad one from this film is : *Bad idea to have mirrored sunglasses in the movie. Look into the glass of the agents, Neo, Trinity, and any one else who has them you can see the camera*…Tut tut!!!
3. The worst Movie Mistakes Ever –
There are so many funny mistakes and blunders it’s so hard to find the best ones, but this section has as it says the pick of the cock-up’s! Including another huge box office blockbuster Gladiator
*In the battle with the Barbarian Horde one of the chariots is turned over. Once the dust settles you can see a gas cylinder in the back of the chariot.*
(Hmmm, perhaps they fancied a barbecue???!!)
4. Recent Releases –
Here is an up to date list of the USA and UK Top 10 films and Video’s, these do not all have mistkes listed yet, but that ones that do have a clickable link again for direct access.
One recent addition is from What Women Want-
*When Mel tries on the pantyhose, the hole in the left leg changes from large on the outside of his leg, to small with a run on the outside of his leg to large on the inside of his leg.*
(Pantyhose are tights for any non American speaking Ciaoer’s! Sure the vision of Mel Gibson in tights will appeal to a few of you !! )
The site itself is almost reliant on you the film viewer, to find and send in these movie mistakes, of course they need to be really good, not just tiny errors, so get looking!
Those are the main sections, however links offer you various other sites that might be of interest, a German mirror site of this one and lots of other film related sites too.
Also available is the Movie –Mistakes mailing list, this will keep all you film buffs notified of any new material on the site, so you don’t miss a thing.
An added bonus I found was the Poster link, although you cannot purchase the posters here as it USA only, there is a large section of free, yes free Ecards, these cover fine Art, Movies, Music, Sport, Vintage and Photograph.
These are excellent and very different to others on your regular card sites, the Movies and Music cards are very up to date and I’m sure you will find something for anyone’s taste here, if your looking for an out of the ordinary card.
To sum up a fascinating site, so simple to use and very entertaining, there are so many entries it would take weeks to read them all, but once you start you get engrossed.
If you have a particular Favourite film, you can bet it will be on here and you can find it with ease. What I have done is if I know a film is on TV or Sky, I look at the mistakes before I watch it, then I know what to look out for…quite obvious when you know!
A site well worth a visit, go have a look, you won’t be disappointed I’m sure! Ana x

A few weeks ago I read an opinion by Deano76 about movie mistakes that he had noticed and it got me thinking about the people who are responsible for continuity on films – they don’t seem to be doing a very good job do they? Have a look at some of the examples below and see if you could have done any better for the amount of money they must be paid.
www.movie-mistake.com was ‘invented’ by Jon Sandys a few years ago and it ... ...full time, having graduated from Southampton University in July 2000. He is age 23 and has a massive collection of DVDs/videos (not surprisingly). The site loads quickly and it nice and easy on the eye, being mainly blue and white. There are a few adverts for DVDs, posters and domain names, but nothing too overwhelming. On the left of each screen is a list of links to other areas of the site, making it very easy to navigate.

~ ~ I came across this site after spotting a small report about it in the excellent little Internet and computer magazine, Doors, that comes as part of the Sunday Times each week.
This site is exactly what it says; a VERY thorough listing of all the mistakes and blunders in movies both past and present that have made it past the cutting room and onto our cinema screens.
If, like me, you are a real film buff, (addict would be a more accurate description) ... ...fun here, checking out all your own favourites, and then rushing through to turn on your VCR or DVD player to view them for yourself.
~ ~ The site itself is very plain and uncluttered.
It has a menu bar that takes you very quickly to whatever section you require down the left hand side of the page, and on the homepage itself there are four main categories listed.

After reading Broksababie's opinion on this site. I decided that I just had to take a peek myself. I was interested to know if anyone had put any errors up on a film I was in. So thats how I discovered this site....
Firstly I was amazed at the speed it loaded on my computer. For once it was fast. Up came the clear blue heading on top of the page,with all the links running down the side.Films,top films,top mistakes and more.
The site is run by one ... ...The latest being 16th August.
Jon started the site by contributions of information (errors) being sent to him,and of course ones he had spotted himself as a film buff.
On this site you can easily contribute to it by sending anything that you may spot.Unfortunately the downside is that as jon is running it he is unable to check if what is sent is true or from other sources so has to rely on it being correct.He is also has the problem of being snowed ...

Are you a nit-picking perfectionist that always finds fault with everything? Well I have just the site for you. You will think you have died and gone to heaven. Even if you are not a perfectionist this site is fun.
The purpose of “Movie Mistakes” is that people can share any errors they have spotted in films. “Pearl Harbour” is the latest target, at present forty eight mistakes have been found. Although some of the mistakes ... ...is a page for the most mistake filled films. “Hannibal” and “The Wizard of Oz” come in for a caning much to my amusement. However I think my favourite has to be the famous one in “Zulu”. Some of the warriors are quite clearly wearing the watches they were paid with. This is featured in “The Worst Movie Mistakes”. The “Current Films” section is worth a look too.

...the sight for you. Movie-Mistakes.com is a culmination of many people noticing little mistakes in movies. Remember that great disaster movie that won many many Oscars...well it wasn't just the ship had holes in it, there are 96 apparent mistakes in Titanic including people dying and then reappearing in later scenes. Another great cult move is the Scream films which have mistakes spotted ranging from mid scene changes in clothes to very obvious appearance ...
