Advantages: Loads of good fresh sounds Disadvantages: A lot of experimentation to find your choice of sodn!
MP3.com is an ideal place to find the obscure and occasionally the up and coming bands of the future.
I am a confirmed muso having played in bands for many years and MP3.com is an ideal platform for musicians to get their sounds heard.
My only complaint about the site would be that the 'Genres' the music is classified in are, to say the least, a little confusing to start with. I remember a time when Reggae was considered a mainstream form of music, ... ...Mit) that I fell across MP3.com whilst trying to find some sound for my daughter, who was very specific in her request for bands such as Limp Bizkit (I,ve probably spelt that wrong) and Wheatus - but I ended up trawling around for an hour or so - most of the time just checking out some of the very inventive band names.
That's the moaning and groaning over with...

...Well thats is where MP3.com are going to help me out I hope. I signed up for them last week inthe hope of getting our newly-demoed tracks online and into the homes of people the world over. Sign up is free, as is the hosting of your songs and maintenance of your web space. You can add songs, add graphics and biographies, tour dates, gigs and alsorts! It really is a useful tool for getting your music heard. Its easy to follow and a good attractive ... ...are that the site looks too busy and the time it takes to do anything. I say busy because there is far too much information available on the home page and unless you have a very high resolution monitor, you have no chance of seeing it all without a lot of scrolling. It is also slow for registering and updating. I registered over 6 days ago and so far they have not apporved my account or my songs. They say that it takes a few days to get your account ...

Who believes, which would then sound, are like Chartcombos powerfully on the wrong track. The large breadwinners are Russian AvantgardeTechnoProjekte, Latinjazzbands of New Zealand, Doommetalbands from Michigan etc.. Who believes now, wars perhaps so around ...

There are two ways of getting around MP3.COM. You can either browse through the music categories, such as ‘Rock & Pop’ (I’ve never had a satisfactory explanation as to why these two are always lumped together) and ‘Hip Hop’. These are then split further into subcategories. Each category has charts, recommendations as well as an out and out list of bands. Another option and one of my preferred ... ...Or at least that’s what MP3.COM want it to be. What it REALLY is, however, is just the content from the bands website rehashed into a little multimedia program that autoloads (Very slowly) when you insert the CD. While it is pretty cool to have the lyrics to hand it’s not worth loading the entire program to get to them, you may as well use your normal CD player. DAM CD’s all have a very similar look to them, the artist gets to choose ...
