The principal behind Mr.Adgood follows along the same lines as the pay-to-surf, get paid to read email etc. prgrams out there. Now, before you scoff and say you've had enough of all these stupid schemes that promise the earth and deliver nothing, read on because this is a better idea in my opinion. No, its not going to let you quit your job and sit back and let the money roll in, but so far it seems a far better idea than the others.
Mr Adgood sends text message adverts to your mobile phone and pays you for receiving them. You do not have to do anything else other than receive the text message. There is no need to reply, visit a site etc. just receive the message and you will be paid 3p for doing so. OK, so its not a fortune but for doing naff all then you might as well have it, rather than not as far as I am concerned. Registration is simple, simply enter you personal details, mobile number and select the things which interest you(these are the ads that will be targetted at you) and you are ready to go.
Now, I can't say that I have had overwhelming success with this idea so far but then its relatively new so its to be expected that they do not have a huge advertising base as yet. I have been a member for a little over a month now and received only 5 text messages in total from them to date. It would appear that they expect this to pick up soon because they also give you the option of limiting the number of messages you receive per day - from 1 to unlimited - but as yet I have seen no evidence that it will get better. They are also currently working on a WAP service, which will work the same way as the text messaging idea and they have an opt-in paid for email scheme as well, all of which accrues to your same credit account.
In time it may work out to be quite good, but at the moment...well the jury is still out. What I will say is that if you like the paid/per email schemes etc. then you may as well give this a go as well.
