Braun Series 7 70cc electric shaver - use a braun, use your brain

Advantages: The best electric shaver I have ever found
Disadvantages: It's quite expensive

Advantages: LCD Panel - Sonic Pulsing - fast clean option - lifts problem hairs
Disadvantages: cartridge is good for approx. 30 cleaning cycles - cutter and foil in one complete head

Advantages: quicker than tweezing, the light, face and other attachment, ice pack
Disadvantages: can hurt, & tweezers can go blunt after awhile.

...skin smoother, but the pulling of the hairs can hurt. and sometimes depending on the quality of the epilator, this my at times cut the hair rather than pulling, therefore causing you to have stubbleregrowth. and we all know, us ladies HATE THE STUBBLE FEEL. you may or will get the reddening of the skin, but that will soon disappear after a few hours. try not to eipalte your skin just before or after you have a bath, cus you may become or feel a bit tender. any how, go ahead give the braun a go, it may or may not achieve the results that you are looking for. it has some what worked for me. but over all its a good thing to have in your cupboard. also mains and recahargeable would be nice to have....

Pricey, but well worth it

Advantages: Build quality, shaving performance, cleaning performance, low running costs
Disadvantages: The only one - the plug is a shaver plug, and not a 3-pin mains plug

...To provide some context on where this review is coming from, in my 15 years of shaving, I've always see-sawed back and forth between wet shaving and electric razors, though I've almost always favoured wet shaving - you can't beat the closeness of the shave, and my skin naturally seems to prefer it. My previous electric razor was a disaster (Philips Coolskin rotary shaver), and my skin just didn't get on with it, so despite spending upwards of £70 on it, I only used it a few months before returning to wet shaving, which put me off electric for quite a while. Advantages: Ultimate reassurance, high accuracy, so simple to use

Normally retailing at just under 40 pounds, we managed to pick it up for just under 30pounds, a real bargain. It really is so simple, switch it on, wait for 3 digital lines to appear, press the button, put it in her ear and within 2 seconds it beeps to tell you the temperture has been recorded. Thats it!! Simplicity. Now of course I then check time and time again just to be sure, and it pretty much comes up with the same temperature each time so I feel quite confident about its accuracy. It comes with disposable earpieces so as not to spread any infection, very clear directions, and its own case for easy storage. Advantages: Lots of accessories, good instructions, excellent range of features
Disadvantages: none specific to the product itself, several to the process of epilating

...I bought this product to replace an older version from a different manufacturer that I have had for about five years. I moved from North America to the UK and my old epilator wasn't dual voltage, so buying a new one was easier than the variety of adaptors and step down devices I would have had to find to keep using the old one. Because I've been epilating so long, its hard for me to comment on the pain level of the Braun vs any other epilator as I really don't get much pain from the process anymore. At first it does hurt when you use it, but in my experience your skin gets accustomed, your hair roots get weaker, and the whole process gets quicker and easier.
