HTC Desire...
Advantages: Sense UI interface, easy to use
Disadvantages: issues with the android software.
...PLZ RATE/REVIEW MY EFFORT AFTER READING...
I decided to buy a phone and was confused whether to wait for the iphone 4g or to go in for the htc desire. I went through a lot of reviews and details myself and decided to buy the htc desire and trust me I made the perfect decision.
The phone is excellent, especially its Sense user interface, its really smooth. The picture quality, sound quality is mind blowing. Moreover the AMOLED gives the whole screen a bright and crystal clear look. The screen is quite large but the phone is sleek and fits into my pocket easily. The whole security lock system is quite cool. The phone keeps you connected with friends easily since it has gtalk, twitter, facebook, msn etc which really helps. The sense user interface allows you to switch and customise 7 different home screens and thats amazing.
The camera...

HTC Desire - Better than the iPhone?
Advantages: An amazing phone, so easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery life is a bit on the short side
...About the Desire
The HTC Desire is a smartphone, very similar in look and functionality to Apples iPhone. Released in April 2010, the Desire has already attracted a large fanbase at it attempts to dethrone Apple from their perch at the pinnacle of the smartphone market.
The Desire runs on the Android operating system which is owned by Google. This means that the phone contains many of Google?s ordinary desktop features such as Google Maps and Google Mail.
The Desire Interface
The Desire uses what HTC call the HTC Sense interface. This interface is very much a people orientated experience. You can now view all interactions with a friend from the one screen, meaning that you no longer need to go into Facebook or Twitter to see what people are doing. All of this information is now stored against your individual...

HTC Desire, the phone to beat Apple? A full review
Advantages: Almost everything- particularly user interface and features
Disadvantages: Battery life is annoyingly short; the iPhone 4 has been released
... Product overview
The HTC Desire is HTC's latest and greatest to-date smartphone to hit European stores.
Running Google's Android operating system, it is essentially a slightly remodeled version of the HTC-made Google Nexus One released around the same time, the main difference being that the Desire uses HTC's personal take on Android- the Sense user interface.
I've owned this phone for over two months, so hopefully my first-hand experience can contribute a few need-to-knows to your knowledge of this phone. Also, the Desire is Google Android's best chance yet at being better than the iPhone, so I'll try to establish whether or not this is the case.
Detailed Review
Now let's break down some of the most important aspects of the Desire.
HTC Sense UI:
By far the most important aspect of a smartphone is the user...

HTC Desire: Fantastic phone packed full of features
Advantages: Easy to use, fun, full of features, great screen quality and does the core phone functions well
Disadvantages: uses a lot of data
...The HTC desire is simply a great phone packed full of great stuff than continuously surprises you and makes you pleased you bought this phone. It?s similar in approach to the iPhone in that you have different screens with icons on for apps and the screens can be swiped to move across to the next one. The touch screen works really well and the screen itself is of amazing quality. Little touches like putting the current weather on the home screen for when you unlock the phone are fun and can be useful.
Everything is where you expect it to be: to switch off various functions such as Internet updates, Bluetooth etc. is all done in the same place. You don?t have to go through various menu screens for each item.
The apps themselves are great, for instance you can use your camera to show what you can currently see as you walk down...

HTC Desire combines the power of google with an excellent phone
Advantages: Google integration, great screen, social media syncing
Disadvantages: Battery life, complicated contacts, you need a big data plan
...This is the first time I've bought a smartphone. Normally I just take whatever cheap phone the company offers me, but this time I did my research and decided that the HTC Desire was the device I wanted.
It must be said, I am a fan of Google. Even though they are becoming a lot like Skynet from the terminator films, I can't help but admire their plans for world domination. With Google Android 2.1 operating system I can sync my google docs, calendar, contacts, and mail to my handset and access them from anywhere. My whole world is now accessible 24/7.
Android on the Desire is very slick and very accessibile. Compared to Windows mobile products I've used before and the market leading iPhone, Android is less restrictive, more customisable, less expensive to buy apps for, and often faster. Did I mention the google integration? You can't do...

The iPhone Killer
Advantages: Great functions, lovely to use, the best mobile I've ever used
Disadvantages: Battery time, it needs charging daily. No Mac connectivity!
...I?ve not had the greatest of experiences with touch sensitive mobile phones, LG?s Prada Phone was ok at first, Samsung?s Jet a spewing pile of widgets, and Nokia?s phones more often than not never even got off the starting block. Having owned an iPod touch and loving it to bits, because the sensitivity is just perfect it seemed the viable option that my mobile phone upgrade would take me in the direction of the iPhone. Sadly my network ?3? did not offer the iPhone (until straight after my upgrade anyway) and with iPhone?s being on the market for a couple of years now I doubted the event would ever happen, so with some hesitation I decided to upgrade to the HTC Desire because having read dozens of reviews it seemed that this might be a really good alternative to the iPhone.
HTC have the tagline quietly brilliant, and from first switch...

smart choice for a smart phone
Advantages: Beautiful 3.7 inch screen, Quick 1Ghz processor
Disadvantages: Tempremental wifi access
...The time had to come for me to upgrade my trusty Nokia N95. The phone had served me well but a newer, better phone was always on the cards. After looking at several phones i was certain that my next choice was to be a touch screen phone...but which one? A few of my friends had IPhones but as newer touch screen phones were being released i had a feeling that the IPhone was soon to be beaten interms of visual and audio capabilities. After browsing the internet reading and re-reading reviews i had my heart set on the HTC Desire. This phone for me had more potential as it had a bigger screen, faster CPU (1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to be precise) and had video recording capabilities. A quick phone call to my network provider sealed the deal and all i had to do was wait...easier said than done.
3 days later it had arrived! I couldn...

The Fantastic HTC HD2
Advantages: Massive clear screen, tons of apps, hacks and tweaks to make the phone as you wabt it
Disadvantages: On heavy usage only one day from the battery, a few bugs but depends on device
...The HD2 is my first HTC device, but certainly not my first touch device or Windows Mobile device; It wont be my last HTC device but I doubt I would go much bigger for the screen size, I think 4.3" is plenty big enough for when it comes to a phone!!
The HD2 operates on Windows Mobile 6.5, which is the most up to date version currently available, Personally my HD2 uses Windows 6.5.5 which means that instead of the start button being in the top left hand corner which is a little hard to reach when using only 1 hand unless you have very thumbs so my start button is in the bottom left hand corner which I find much easier!!
Now one thing I keep hearing is the phone as a major lag, the phone always freezes, rubbish reception but for me none of them are true, I live in the UK and most of the time I have the little H in taskbar meaning I have...

The best phoned that I have ever owned
Advantages: quick internet
Disadvantages: battery life
...The new Desire from HTC is packed full of applications that i use on a daily basis. From having a 5 mega pixel camera on the phone to a fully functional sat nav. You can never get bored of the desire. The internet is very quick whether it is through mobile network or from a wireless connection.
The phone looks smart looking and is very durable as well. I prefer it to other similar smartphones that are currently on the market.
The contracts on the desire are also good value for money and network providers offering competitive deals
The only bad thing i have to say about the phone is that the battery life is not very good. the phone needs constant recharging throughout the day if you surf the internet alot on it. other than that it is very efficient in sleep mode....

HTC Tattoo - all about you
Advantages: Fantastic value and easy to use
Disadvantages: Occassionally freezes whilst in messaging - but easy to rectify
..., as you can easily change the cover of this little beauty! You can also update the front screen of the phone to reflect whichever apps you use most, whether that's games or social networking etc....
The phone has a few little quirks which make me smile too - if you have the weather update set on the front screen, there are window wipers which go across the screen when it's raining. (Easily amused perhaps??)
The battery life of the phone isn't too bad either. On a recent trip to a weekend festival, my friend switched from her iPhone back to her old phone because she knew her battery wouldn't last. I wasn't using my HTC as much as I normally would, but it still survived the full weekend.
If you're a keen photographer, the image quality isn't too bad either - and you upload your photos to any social networking sites etc right away...
