...it back in again! The lid is easy to take on and off by just enscrewing it. When you do get to the bottom of the tube though it is difficult to get the remains out. You can squeeze it and bend it a bit but I don't think the full amount actually does get used, there is always some left that you just can't get to. This make up applies to the skin well. I make sure I use moisturiser first to make sure it has a good base. You don't need much at all of this which I was relieved about considering the price! It applies easily, it smoothes into the skin evenly and covered up all my uneven skin tones. The result was a very good foundation on which to apply the rest of my make up. I found that the make up looked good and also stayed on all day. I didn't even have to touch it up. It isn't the sort of make up i'd wear every day but...

Disadvantages: But not all day as promised, and I don't notice any reduction in my blemishes!

...For people with oily skin, getting your make-up to stay on your face is problematic enough, never mind that horribly oily, greasy shine that seems to emerge mid-morning, no matter what you do. This is the problem I always have, and I'm always on the lookout for products that promise to help prevent shine and keep away all of that terrible oil... To be truthful I don't think such a product exists and I find that a simple cleanse, tone and moisturise does the same job as any of these 'wonder' products. Despite this I was a sucker when I was handed one of those now very infamous £5 off No7 vouchers in Boots a few months ago, and whilst I normally get a nail varnish for a pound, I spotted the white tube on the shelf, the words 'Shine Free' jumping off the packaging at me. This little 40ml tube costs £10.25, making me want to choke really...

...was faulty. Or maybe the one in the store had been modified to make it better. Either way, the cover stick I bought was not at all like the one in the store. For the record I have the Ivory one - the lightest option (there are a few). The packaging was the same and it looked the same but when I took off the plastic wrapping that concealed it, I swatched the stick only to find that it was quite waxy - not at all smooth and slightly creamy like the one in store. Never mind, I thought, maybe it's just having an off day. Luckily it wasn't for another week or so until a nasty little spot began to show, so I thought this would be the perfect time to test this cover stick. Applying it to the area, I found it was a lot darker than it should have been, with an almost orange tint to it. Even worse it wouldn't blend. I was left with this horrid waxy...

I wanted something quick and easy that would effectively remove my eye make up but that was also quite gentle, since some eye make removers make your eyes sting! I have used Clarins products in the past and have found them to be effective, so I thought that I would give this 'Instant Eye Make-Up Remover' a try. The bottle is a simple and attractive design. It is an oval shaped, plastic bottle with a screw top lid. The lid is white with a silver coloured rim, which adds a nice bit of bling! The plastic is a frosted colour, and you can easily see though to the liquid inside. The make up remover has two layers in it, it looks really cool in the bottle! There is a blue layer on the bottom and a clear layer on top, and you have to shake the bottle before you use it so that these two layers mix...

...I'm not usually one for using fake tan, I have tried it in the past but was very unimpressed with it, but I also tan quite nicely naturally. However before I went on holiday on a night out I decided that I was looking a bit pasty for my outfit and was in need of a bit of colour. Although described as an instant tan it also stated that this product simply washed off so I decided to give it ago, after all if I hated it I could just wash it off.
