...I really should have wrote this before the result of the election in which the newly elected president is Barack Hussein Obama. But what would have happened if McCain and the Republicans had won the seat into the White House. Also what will Obama do in his new role?
I was interested in the American election for ages, it started when the Democratic Party in the USA annouced it's candiates for potential presidency. The Republican party had made it easy by selecting the war hero John McCain. The democrats however had a bit more of a choice. It eventually narrowed down to the fairly unknown Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama and the extremely famous Hiliary Clinton. However when it ran down to it Obama won on policy.
This was already set to become a historic election as it will either be the oldest man to serve in the White House...

.... My local branch is at Cricklewood and there were two design consultants sitting behind their desks. Nobody was even in their vicinity, but they were too busy to see me. I had to make an appointment just to see them. They refused to even consider giving me the water filter Kit for comming down to the store and wasting my time.
I could have appreciated that they could not see me if they genuinely had customers in front of them but on this occasion they let me down.
On further investigation I found out that their full quote takes one hour and then even more work I would have had to bring all the measurements of the room in the store. The voucher said none of this.
I think that Wickes badly got it wrong, and lost a customer for life.
They mistreated me and show their contempt for their customers even when I took my case to...

Advantages: Well located to travel to Docklands part of London Disadvantages: Not the best area
..., mushroom and even some vegetarian options, which I was pleased to see. This would be a good introduction for our transatlantic guests to British cuisine, at least the lower end of it.
CONCLUSION
This is pretty good for short business stays and is well kept with a decent restaurant in the hotel. I can recommend this for the quality of the rooms and facilities. I'm not that taken with the area it's in, but I would say that it wasn't too noisy though, given the location of the hotel.
I am not sure I can recommend it for Presidential visits, but I am sure President Obama would enjoy a decent nights sleep here.

...I write on Dooyoo - particularly often on the 'Speakers Corner' section - something that we don't have here on Ciao (if we do I've never found it !!).
Anyway, I’m opinionated on quite a few topics – I like to have a rant now and again and if I offend some people now and again with what I say, well I’m sorry, but grow a thicker skin !!
However, one thing really bugs me on Dooyoo – the self appointed Dooyoo Police, the mutual appreciation society of fellow comforters, the arbiters of ‘good taste’, the proponents of liberalism (so long as they can set the parameters of what liberalism is all about) – I’m sure you know the type I mean !!
