Reach for the Sky ( Plus of course)
Advantages: We watch what we want when we want
Disadvantages: None for me
... SKY PLUS
Move over sliced bread, there's a new kid on the block!
From now on I will describe things that are good,as the best thing since Sky Plus!
I'm of an age to have been around for the first of the Ferguson video players (as so wonderfully described by the brilliant Peter Kay). There was no remote control- you had to walk over to the machine to do all the recordings, and the amount of times we settled down to watch a film my better (?!?) half had recorded only to find a recording of something completely different.
My goodness didn't we think we were something, with our mock leather video covers that held recordings of Corrie and the likes!
But know videos and video recorders are a thing of the past and will soon be appearing on the Antiques Roadshow.
The advent of recording onto DVD seemed to...

Orange
Advantages: Nice smell, bottle
Disadvantages: none
...Boss Orange is the newest fragrance that I have been wearing since Christmas. I have to admit that their marketing campaign worked on me. They used Sienna Miller in their television adverts to show a fun, flirty, female who uses this perfume. Now obviously I realise that by wearing this perfume I am not going to look like Sienna Miller or flirt like her but at least I can wear the same perfume as her!
Boss Orange is actually a fashion collection by Boss as well and so they decided to carry that name over into their new perfume. Apparently, according to their website the colour orange has mood-enhancing qualities and symbolises energy, positivity and warmth. I have to admit though that I think the name is perhaps a bit deceptive as I thought this perfume would smell exactly like oranges, well unfortunately it doesn't even though it does...

Orange Mobile Network
Advantages: good, cheap, lots of packages
Disadvantages: slow customer service
...I have been on the orange network for years and years and I have looked around but have to say, I have always been offered the best deals with Orange. It does help that most of my family use this network too though I guess.
Signal
Orange for me has good signal, I only don't get it near my boyfriend who lives quite far out in the country, but since getting the blackberry, I get signal at his house using the UMA thing (don't know what it is but I know it goes over the internet and is (currently) unique to orange. So all phones have patchy signal but this is a good network I think if you are in the city.
Customer Service
I have only ever been in touch with orange over the phone and in shops, in the shops they are generally not too helpful as I think they are merely franchises trying to sell you phones and deals, and they can't really...

Orange network in general
Advantages: Great contracts on offer, good reception, good service
Disadvantages: Not consistent waiting times when phoning cust services - can wait a while at peak times
...I have been with the Orange network since owning my first mobile phone at the age of 16 (13 years ago) and (touch wood) I have encountered very little problems with them.
At present my partner and I have both our mobile phones and our home broadband with Orange because we believe they offer good customer service as well as cost efficient prices. The Broadband we get from them amounts to just £5.00 with unlimited downloads which is an offer they advertise should you have a phone contract with them. They also offer free internet should you have a contract with them but with limited downloads instead.
Orange offer a wide range of contracts to suit all needs. There are 3 different groups of contract offered by orange which are named Racoon, Dolphin and Panther. Should you be after inclusive text messages then a Dolphin contract would...

The futures bright... the futures orange
Advantages: Great service, great offers and great coverage
Disadvantages: slightly pricey
...I have been with orange for many years and have found them to be quite a good service provider.
I first pondered over the many different contracts that they had on offer, confusing myself in the process.
I finally opted for the pay as you go option as, at the time, I only really needed the phone for receiving calls for work and this worked out to be the cheapest option.
Over the years I have stuck with pay as you go, more because of trust and reliability than cost, simply changing my telephone and upgrading my SIM to keep up with the times.
You can simply add credit to your phone by:
A~) Pay point, found at most shops
B~) Vouchers, bought at most shops
Or C~) Cash machines, top up from your bank account.
** THE OFFERS**
Orange PAYG has different pay packages for everyone.

Sky Plus is a Plus
Advantages: Record, rewind, series link
Disadvantages: Expensive, bad customer service
...If you love TV then you probably love your Sky + box and if you haven't already got one you really really need to get one. For me this box is definitely a Plus with one little Minus but I will get to that later.
Sky + is a personal video recorder that allows the user to record, pause and instantly rewind live TV. It works in conjunction with a Sky television subscription. It was launched in September 2001 and in February 2008 Sky announced that over 3 million households now have a Sky + box.
Sky + is such a benefit to have. You access all the features of the recorder through your Sky + remote.
Recording - Sky + allows you to record any programme that you like. It is very simple to do. You do not have to set any timers or set up any video tapes, etc, the show is saved as hardware on the Sky box. Basically you search through...

Who wants an Orange
Advantages: Free customer care on contract
Disadvantages: Choice of phones is somewhat limited
...?t want to wake up the person you are trying to contact.
Although this review has principally looked at Orange contract phones, there is a successful JustTalk way of paying, which involves paying up front for calls. This is generally more expensive unless you are an infrequent user and customer support is charged at your standard call rate. JustTalk offers three different ways to pay, check the website for more details.
In conclusion, I like my tariff on Orange. It works for me because many of my friends and family are on the same network. Even disregarding this, the customer care is pretty good and the 24-hour availability is a real plus point. Text messages are sent quickly and there is plenty of support if you should need it. I just wish they had more handsets. Recommended.

Lets All Turn Orange
Advantages: Plenty of freebies
Disadvantages: More expensive than most other networks
...getting plus its made easy by the automated system they have in place. They vary in price depending on the type you want, whether it be talk time, text messaging, wap browsing etc...
My favourite has to be the Orange world extra, it costs £1 and gives you unlimited wap browsing for 24hrs which is excellent for someone like me who spends alot of time online browsing forums and chatting.
I'm a 3g customer and i cant complain about the coverage. I usually have full bars and even when i don't it automatically reverts back to the 2.5g signal.
Customer service is the only part of Orange that really lets it down although they are very helpfull.
On several occasions my credit has simply disappeared so i've had to call them to find out why. Not only does it cost a one off payment of 25p their system doesn't update straight away so i was...

Sky Plus
Advantages: Too many to mention
Disadvantages: I don't know, not as yet.
...Last year I visited a member of the family and while sitting in their front room chatting, I noticed their rather large TV to which I made a comment. However the reply I got was not so much about the TV, but the Sky plus box underneath. They raved about it," Got to get one". I thought big deal, so it records TV; I've got a VCR at home does the same thing. Until I rang Sky about renewing my contract some months ago and they offered me Sky plus at a reduced rate, to which I took. Installation came round quite quick, in a matter of weeks. Although I had the old system, he still put in a new dish and wiring with the minumum of fuss. One of the things did noticed was that as it raining outside, the engineer put on these plastic covers over his shoes so as not to cause any mess on my flooring.
Well, we've had this Sky plus for a few...

Tango Orange
Advantages: Tasty
Disadvantages: Probably not as good as Fanta...
...Kids today will probably think of Tango as a poor man's Fanta. I remember a time when it ruled supreme, with adverts of men in orange body suits going round slapping people. It was a wonderful time. But has the orange stuff stood the test of time? Can it compete with the Fanta market?
It sprung up controversy recently when it's advertising slogan was "Tango With Added Tango"...nothing untowards there, but as the slogan put the words on top of one another, if you put the first letters of each of the words together then you'll see the problem...see what I mean?!
Tango is simply an orange fizzy drink filled with sugar and sweeteners. on the black and orange can, it does state that 65% of people preferred Tango to other leading orange fizzy drinks in a blind taste test. Why? Well, it's a strong, sweet orange flavour - much better...
