I started my online diary some time ago, and I found it was super. I can make comments about the day as it passes, write my secrets, or share the diary with an online friend. It's better than email because it is a place where you can put thoughts and somehow sharing a diary with someone online is like sharing part of your life with someone you trust. I share mine with a friend in France and we can put anything we like in there. We are both writers and jot down ideas in the diary that we want to share with each other. You're probably familiar with the kind of diaries we used to give to the kids with a lock and key and that were always easy to get into. This is different. Without the password, you cannot get into the diary. It is a safe place, and an intimate sharing experience. I believe that more people should use it and would even recommend couples with difficulties between them to use the diary as a place to put thoughts that they cannot discuss so that their partners can read them and comment on them. You know behind the anonimity of a keyboard, people become brave and say things that they cannot say in real life, and the diary is the perfect outlet for thoughts, for sharing joys, for sharing unhappiness and reasons for it, and for helping two people understand each other better. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a sharing relationship that can;t be deleted by accident like an email can. It is online and therefore not kept in the records of your computer. It seemed a really nice idea and works well for my friend and I, even though we only use it for work related things. Give it a try. You will love it. Most of all it is FREE !!!!!!!!
