Advantages Good online storage, reasonable print prices
Disadvantages Delivery times, don't handle non-standard orders so well

Based in France, this company specialises in photographic storage, online photo albums and digital printing. It's very easy to upload digital photos, and online storage is free and unlimited. My daughter has just been on a gap year and used MyPix.com for uploading her photos and creating online albums - much cheaper than buying loads of digital memory cards, and cheaper too (and much more secure) than downloading to CDs which you then carry about in a rucksack for months. Shockingly poor website, user unfriendly, extremely poor delivery 29/05/2012

Advantages 80 free photos
Disadvantages the free photos are not free. Postage very expensive. Still not received my photos, very poor

I have found the Mypix website difficult to use , confusing and totally user unfriendly. The delivery has been poor and the postage charges very expensive. I was taking advantage of 80 free photos - which has cost me about a £5.00. I managed to upload my photo's, however when it came to ordering a real nightmare. Whenever I put my order through my basket showed that I was being charged for the photo's and after an hour of faffing around eventually stumbled around to find how to get them free. Advantages Low price for printing, fast, reliable, free photo upload
Disadvantages Delievery times abit slow apprently, have to buy bundles of photos

My Pix offer a service which seems really impressive when you see the homepage - they offer something much cheaper than most high street shops could. It offers you free storage, free photo categorisation and also allows you to upload your photos. You can by uploading your photos for free, you can see yourself anywhere in the world, show them to friends etc - it's free. They beat their competitiors by offering prints of uploaded photos, giving you the chance to get photos you upload printed. Don't try the photo albums 14/12/2009

Advantages Normal photos were OK
Disadvantages Album photos were of inferior quality

In my opinion the quality of the printing was inferior to a daily newspaper. We asked to return the albums, and were offered the same three albums again. As they couldn't print them the first time, this seemed a stunningly bad offer, but since then we have had absolutely no response from myPix. My advice is to use another site. The only phone contact I could find is via a premium rate number, and they are based in Europe so legal redress will be tricky. Their last email is below, which to my mind admits fault. Always takes longer for pictures to get delivered than advertised 12/07/2009

Advantages Picture quality is fine
Disadvantages Usually late. May let you down when you need it on time. Poor customer service.

I have used mypix.com for the past few years and will probably not use them again. The pictures are good quality but they are always late. This had only been a problem when I make a purchase for a gift. I ordered pictures at the beginning of December last year and they arrived the second week in January. It was two calendars for my mother and mother in law. I ordered well within the recommended times. Their after sales service is very bad.
