I work as a personal assistant in London so I use the internet constantly during the day, sometimes searching out weird and wonderful items all in the name of keeping my boss happy so I knew this site would be good for me.
What is it? - well it is a search engine that uses Yahoo to generate the results of your search. For example, your boss asks you to find a company that sells ice to Eskimos in Central London, you go to the website, www.mysearchfunds.com, type in ice/Eskimos/central London in the search box and the website will provide you with a list of links that you can then click into to find the company you are looking for.
The website has recently been renamed homepagesfriends.com but is still the same. The nice thing about this site is that you get paid for the searches you make. Granted the payment is very small, approximately 2 pence per valid search but every little bit adds up and in the current climate is invaluable! It is completely free to join and free to use so what are you waiting for.
It's very easy to sign up. You go to the website and enter a username and password which will be e-mailed to you on the e-mail address you choose. You then have access to your account. You need to be signed into this in order for your searches to count and for your money to be credited to your account. I actually set this webpage as my home page on my computer and stayed signed in all day so whenever I needed to make a search I was already signed in and ready to go.
I found the results from the searches to be very good indeed and always found what I was looking for. I already liked Yahoo as a search engine anyway but for those of you who haven't tried it is does yield good results. Most of the things I wanted came up as the top search. The nice thing was, each day when you log into your account you can see a balance of how many funds you have accumulated so far. I enjoy seeing how much money I've made and it's nice to keep a track and see that the sight actually works.
You can also earn extra money by inviting friends to use the site. If they sign up using your link then are then attached to your profile in a way so when they do a search you earn a fraction of what they earn as well.
According to their website the service works on Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 and Mozilla/Firefox browsers. You can update your browser to support it and the website provides links in order for you to do this.
One piece of advice I would give is don't try to second guess the system as they do have tools in place to stop you abusing the site, for example, this is really only for valid searches only and will not record search where you click on the same subject over and over again just to increase your money, or searching for websites that you then don't view to again just raise your money levels. Apparently on their website they gave an example of a person/persons who, with the help of his computer conducted 17,000 searches in one day, obviously not valid!!
I have read from different sources that they really only count about 100 searches a day from one individual but I don't know if this is true or not. This is quite a lot of searches and quite hard for one person to do anyway in the course of one day so you should not have a problem. In my busy days I did tend to reach this amount, but that was a very busy day!!
You get paid once you reach the £20 minimum payment and payment is made 30 to 45 days after that. I am finally writing this review because I received my payout the other day so I am here to tell you that yes it definitely works. My payment was definitely slow and it was a bit irritating that it took so long. I did e-mail them a couple of times to ask which they did respond to with an e-mail within two days which I thought showed good customer service though. You can choose to be paid by either PayPal (which I think is great and convenient) or by bank transfer. Later on you can log into your account and change the method of payment if you wish which is nice.
In my opinion, you'll never make your fortune using this site but isn't it nice to be rewarded for the things we do on a daily basis anyway, well worth a look!

A friend told me about mysearchfunds.com and I am very glad they did because it is such an easy way to make money on the internet without doing anything more or differently than what you do already!
As many of my reviews will show, I am signed up to a great many cashback and survey sites. They all bring in a little extra but they can sometimes be tedious to the extreme. Performing tons of daily clicks or answering strange questions about thousands ... ...also log on at the mysearchfunds.com website and see how many searches you have made and how much you have earned. Searches are all added straight away and earnings are added the following day. They do make a request though for genuine searches only and not to abuse the system. It is very easy to keep a check on what you are earning. You can cash out once you have made twenty pounds which should only take a couple of months, and you can be paid either ...

I found out about my search funds through another reviewer and so I thought I'd check it out. The site is quite good and is a good way of earning some extra cash for doing something you would do anyway whilst online!
What is it?
The site is a search system that allows users to earn a small amount of cash for every search they do on the web. Users must first of all sign up and then set their search bar to the sites but it is very quick and easy ... ...need to go the homepage and then simply click on the link to sign up. It will ask some basic details that literally only take a few minutes to do and then once you have done this it will ask you to set your homepage for the web to their homepage as your default search page. Normally you can see if this has been done by a small search bar that comes up in the top right hand corner of the screen on your PC that has your name in it. Using it:

I guess after over a year of use I should get around to making my views on this search engine known. I originally signed up when the site was known as mysearchfunds, a few months after I signed up it was renamed myhomepagesfriends, but the site itself is called myhpf. The site is designed to be a search engine with a difference, you get paid for the searches you do. So how well does it work? When you sign up you get the option to install it as one ... ...myhpf box is the default search it will display your name so that you know it is the right box. Or you can set the myhpf page as one of your homepages. It originally the searches were an amalgam of several search engines, but it then converted to just use the results from yahoo, this means that the results aren't quite as good as those from google but for most people the difference is slight. Advantages: Very straight forward, reasonable revenue. Disadvantages: None yet.
I can't really remember how I came across this but I have been signed up with them since February. This is one of the few sites that I have come across that appears genuine, morally sound and pays reasonable revenue.

Like all search engines ask.com receive advertising revenue and to attract more people to search with them (i.e pull customers away from google and yahoo) they have decided to hand over a percentage of their revenue and offer it to the searchers. They have also recently been working to incorporate Google and yahoo with it, so perhaps they've decided to share some of their money too...

I joined up to homepages friends only a few days ago, and already feel I know enough about the site to share my experience and opinions with you.
For those that don't know, myhpf.co.uk is a website that pays you for searching the internet. Sounds fabulous, does it not? If you're anything like me, you search the internet probably 20-50 times a day, now imagine getting paid 2-4pence for every search you made? I know it doesn't sound like much, but ... ...could be earning £2 a day for doing absolutely nothing - well apart from what you would do any way!
Now of course, there are always let downs! So I'll quickly run you through them without trying to bore you too much... First things first, is the actual website itself. First of all, the logo you can see at the top of this page... It states that the website is homepagesfriends.com, type that into your address bar and you'll get nothing! To make matters ...
