Advantages: Delicious, cool, creamy alternative to fizzy drinks Disadvantages: A lot of sugar
I was round at my dad's house one day in the summer when he asked me if I wanted a Frappe. Now, I had never heard of Frappe, and when he told me that it was iced coffee, I thought yuk. I really hate coffee when it has gone cold. But he said that they were really nice, and me trusting my dad decided to give it a go.
Well what can I say, it was delicious, and I went straight round to Asda before I went home to buy a box for myself.

Advantages: A nice alternative to a fruit drink on a hot day Disadvantages: Has to be really cold to taste right
...steaming hot cup. Well, Nescafe Frappe fixes that problem. This product comes in 8 25g sachets each containing instant coffee, skimmed milk powder and sugar. As sugar is listed as the first ingredient I assume that there is more of this than any other ingredient. This is all very well if you dont have to watch your sugar intake or are not on a diet, but it would be nice to see a low sugar variety as each sachet contains 97 calories. I'm not sure ... ...milk or water as it doesn't make this clear on the packaging.
Directions:-
Simply empty a sachet into a tall glass, add 200ml of cold milk (or water) stirring all the time. Add some ice and enjoy!
The taste test:-
Doing what is says on the package I was a bit concerned that the powder wouldn't completely dissolve and that it may have a bit of a gritty taste, but I needn't have worried. There is no powdery residue and it dissolve to give a delicious ...

Advantages: A Refreshing Alternative Drink Disadvantages: Quite a bit of stirring involved
...overpoweringly sweet.
I spotted Nescafe Frappe in my local Sainsburys and thought it was worth a try - hey nothing to lose. The box I thought looked a bit 1970's and slightly Stepford Wives-ish, but as the saying goes you can't judge a book by its cover. I brought my box of Frappe home and began to look forward to what was hopefully going to be a refreshing iced coffee. The box itself consisted of 8 powdered sachets. I personally think they have ... ...more suitable in a jar, but thats just my opinion. One thing I did like was the pictured instructions on the side of the box. I sometimes find instructions a little vague, but here it was made simple. Add 200 ml of milk or water and mix with a sachet, add ice and serve.....easy peasy. I opted for the milk option as I thought water would taste too..........well, watery I guess. I reckon adding water is probably the diet version for any of you weight ...

Advantages: Chocolate heaven...with a twist! Disadvantages: Price is slightly high for what you get
...?
You may have a clue already this it is produced by Nescafe, a popular worldwide company who specialise in the production and distribution of a wide range of coffee products. Their most popular and I believe first product is Nescafe Original coffee.
Presented in a rich brown chocolate coloured box, Nescafe describe Double Choca Mocha as 'Chocolatey temptation'. This is just one product in their range of 'alternative' coffee. Other such products include Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso, Frappe and Café Caramel.
The Choca Mocha is available to buy in a pack of 8 23g individual sachets. I purchased mine from Tesco, at a cost of £2.18 per pack, which works out at around £0.27 per sachet. However, Tesco's currently have a 'Buy one, get one free' offer on this product, meaning that they work out at around £0.14 per sachet
