As xmas present I received some next gift cards from family and friends. Then when the next directory online sales started I decided I would use my rightfully gift cards. I ordered 3 items for myself and one for my 1 year and a half child.I could just keep one item of clothing as the shoes I ordered were to small and the trousers were out of stock (bear in mind it took nearly to months for them to tell me that).
My son shoes were not any good as they send adult size shoes. I returned the items I wasn't going to keep to a store.As I paid them using a mix of gift cards and debit cards I did not know how my money was going to be refunded to me. At first I was told it was going to be refunded to my debit card. I waited a bit before making a fuss of it, as sometimes bank transfers can take a little while.
But as a month has gone pass and no money from next has materialized in my account, I then decided I should chase them after all. After nearly a week of stupid answers and stressful phone calls I got to know the money was actually refunded to the original gift cards I used.As originally I was told the money was going to be refunded to my debit card I no longer have the gift cards. After even more stressful conversation I got assured I am going to to receive a full refund by a new gift card.
For my distress, after that has gone pass, I received a message saying £5 gift card is on the post. The original refund was for £45. I don't want to face having to go through the telephone saga again.I feel disgusted by their customer service.
Not to mention the pair of trousers I bought were not refunded yet as well.If you are thinking to buy from Next. Please think twice.
