10,000 BC. This will be a short review which is what this film deserves. From the director of 'Independence Day' and 'The Day After Tomorrow' comes a film that is visually stunning. The film starts with D'Leh as a young boy, when hunters return having found a young girl with blue eyes, Evolet The witch of the village predicts that soon Warlords will come and attack the village. ...by the warlords and D'Leh sets off on a quest that will involve love, honour, spirits, adventure, death, redemption and salvation. Oh and along the way he will pick up an army. The acting is not the best, but I suppose playing someone just above a caveman doesn't need Noel Coward. The commentary that comes at intervals is accented and unneccessary. ...in time to the year 100 million bc, something predictably goes wrong and they are trapped there with no hope of return. They come up witha way to comunicate into the future, and later Dr. Reno leads a mission to try and rescue the team, unfortunately this also goes wrong and they manage to bring a large man eating dinosaur back to 1940 with them which is then let loose on LA. ...however the way it has been portrayed by the actors and the script it has been ruined, it seems rushed and thrown together. The acting isn't brilliant but I suppose they have done the best they could with a bad script amongst other things, although it seems as though they have all read the script and thought 'god this is awful' and acted that way too. Advantages: Excellent performances, chiefly from Ledger.
Disadvantages: Final third could have been a film in its own right.

With the passing of Heath Ledger in January of this year, there was always going to be an unusual kind of interest in this film, the sequel to 2005´s Batman Begins. As much as audiences are keen to see if director Christopher Nolan´s follow-up is as strong and hard-hitting as its predecessor, there´s also the inevitable semi-morbid curiousity that comes in seeing a well-known actor´s last role, especially so soon after his death. 2 fast 2 furious is obviously the folow on from the movie fast and furious, to completely understand the storyline you are better off watching the first film before watching this one but if you just want to watch this one you will still be able to enjoy it as the storyline isnt hard to follow. During all of this he is actually working under cover for mendes to bring vernon down in an attempt to get his job in the police force back, to see if he suceeds you will have to watch the film.
