Little Tikes 5 in 1 system - fantastic value!
Review of Little Tikes 5-in-1 Adjustable Gym by
yummy.mummy
Advantages: it is like buying five toys instead of one
Disadvantages: none
My brothers girlfriend is just about to have a baby and I wanted to buy them something that would grow with the child - I hunted around and I came up with this. At a cost of £24.99 I was drawn in by the fact that it was a 5 in 1 adjustable system. So I ordered one.
I do have to confess I have opened the box to see what it is like and I love it! It is such value for money as its a product that will see a child through to 36 months. It was easy to ... ...enough for a child with exploring hands. The Five stages of it are : baby gym, seated activity centre, stand-up centre, play table and easel.
The baby gym is great as it includes a kick board section and the lights on it are stimulating for a growing baby with great interaction qualities. Also each section creates what seems like a new toy for your child so you are not paying for one piece of equipment -you really ARE playing for five. I would definitely ...

Wind Chimes - Noisy and fun
Review of Tiny Love Baby's Wind Chimes - Blue by
gef18
Advantages: Lovely noise. Grows with the child. Can be used as a kick toy
Disadvantages: Very noisy and a little bit too large for the gym
I bought this toy for my son when he was 4 months old. Now at nearly 7 months old, it is still his favourite toy on his gym. It was a little expensive, but since most of his toys are hand-me-downs I didn't mind spending a little bit more on the few toys I have bought just for him. My husband is very keen for Freddie to play professional football when he is older, so a kick toy seemed essential!
It came in a sturdy plastic bag with a strong handle ... ...It has 3 soft fish each dangling from a plastic cylinder which are attached to a rainbow shape about 15cm wide. It is about 30cm long, which means it's a little too long for our gym. I have to use a plastic jewellry link instead of a normal ring to attach it to the gym, otherwise it is too long. We have a sturdy plastic gym. I don't think that it would be suitable for a soft fabric one.
The wind chimes make a lovely jangling noise even with very ...

zoey18822
Advantages: encourages baby to play
Disadvantages: none
i bought one of these for my son when he was first born but he didnt really get into it till about 3-4 months and when he did he loved it The side-to-side flip blanket provides age-appropriate, self activated fun and fascination for facilitating baby's development. The instant feedback when she activates the touch pad will encourage her to increase her tummy-time and lift her head, strengthening her arms, neck and shoulders, as well as further developing ... ...10 minutes of relaxing classical pieces by Mozart, and a variety of well-loved nursery tunes, as well as the other sounds found on the mat and toys.
Sight is stimulated by the double-sided mat with its images adapted to baby's developing sight, flashing lights on the mat, a mirror and colourful toys hanging from the arches.
The range of materials such as the different types of fabric and the hard and soft plastics integrated into the mat and toys ...

Mamas and Papas Lotty Ladybird Playmat and Gym
Review of Mamas & Papas Lotty Ladybird Playmat & Gym by
EvelynGirasoli
Advantages: Colourful and full of lots of features
Disadvantages: Quite a lot of things for very younf babies to cope with initially
I was so pleased to be given this as a present for our son. He absolutely loves it. It is full of bright colours and textures not to mention music and little funny expressions from some of the characters. I like it as it isn't too loud but just enough for a little baby to cope with. I am sure over the months he will get much more out of it as he is a bit young at the moment to reach for things. Great for a "day nap" as well as it is so cosy!!! Our ...

Vtech Explorer Mat
Review of VTech Explorer Activity Mat by
loopeyuk
Advantages: Washable, entertaining
Disadvantages: None
I brought this activity mat for my daughter when she was 6 months old off a friend who had two bought for her daughter for Christmas. She recommended it as she has two boys aswell and cannot always be in the same place all the time with her daughter. It has been a god send to us as when baby rolls off the mat it calls "Where's baby hiding?" which signals that baby is no longer playing on the mat and could be up to all sorts of mischeif! At first ... ...centre of the activity mat. You pull them down and they sing "there are three birdies in a tree" etc etc which is a very catchy tune and my daughter loves listening to it time and time again. Then there is the Ladybird on one end. You turn it around and it counts to 6 and sings another tune "counting's one of our favourite tricks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6" .
On the other end is a butterfly which when pulled forward starts the main song to the mat and ...
