The first thing you notice about this blender is its sheer, incredible weight. With a chunky glass jug and solid stainless-steel base, it feels expensive, solid and professional. Bought this for around £50 and was initially impressed with its features but ultimately i was unimpressed with it's durability. The motor is very strong and can crush ice/oats and fruit/veg easily but i found that the glass jug, while very strong and heavy, was still prone to cracking when it contained a lot of liquid. I bought this smoothie maker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later).
