A brilliant processor, can run the latest games with ease. Brilliant value too! I play the likes of crysis and cod4 seamlessly with this processor. This processor work very well compare to intel dual core and it is generate less heat. Good for gaming and multi tasking. Among the game i have run on it is Oblivion IV and Fear. Temperature will rise till 45 - 55 but will not exceed 60 degree. At idle temperature and normal task like typing i notice the temperature around 38 - 43 degree. This particular X2 3800+ is for socket 939 motherboards, which are now being replaced by the newer AM2 boards available. However, if you want a good processor upgrade without having to replace your motherboard as well, this processor is a great choice.
