Got this processor in a cheap Medion pc (from tescos £300) about six months ago was intially very impressed by the frequency 3.33 ghz which sounds good. However this is deceiving to the performance of the cpu i.e. though it handles simple pc tasks such as non demanding things like the internet it often slows down and nearly constantly runs at 100% frequency or quite near that level. ...cache size 512k, adequete cache size is one of the main neccesitys for good pc gaming and intensive applications. Disadvantages: Ideally needs Vista 64 bit but few software compatibility probems

Intel have really got it right with this CPU. It was easy to install and runs like a dream. To take real advantage of the power of this CPU it really needs the Vista 64bit version and there are few software compatibility problems now so it is worth taking the plunge. A brilliant processor, can run the latest games with ease. Brilliant value too! I play the likes of crysis and cod4 seamlessly with this processor. There are a few things you must be careful of though, first of all this processor gives out a fair amount of heat!
