I am a professional film maker. most times I shoot with Canon XM2 cameras. The tech spec of this interested me, its seems the money gone into the camera spec, not the frills. I bought this Sony camcorder after having had a Sony mini dv camcorder for around a year. The reason I wanted the hard drive camcorder is because the mini dv one was very very hard to put onto tape.
