Panasonic Vhs-c mmmmmmnnnn
Review of Panasonic NV-RS 7B by
wingbat
Advantages: Easy to use, good value for money
Disadvantages: Flimsy feel to it, to much ugly grey plastic
I bought this camera last year at dixons for what a ealise now, was quite an average price of £299. Whilst I have no grumbles about the camera, I have the feeling that I shall find the need to replace it sooner than I expected. This is a good value for money camera if you are looking for a basic Camcorder. The picture quality is fair yet I feel he camera and its mechanisms seem to flimsy. The camera is quite large in comparison to others on the market ... ...camera has quite a few features , including special efects and 220x digital zoom. Unfortunatley when usng the zoom to the full potential there is quite a lot of camera shake and even using the super image stabaliser functions this shake is still quite apparent. The camera itself is extremely easy to use, turn it on press the button and you're away.
I feel if the camera was a little more attractive it would be a winner, but hey how much do I want ...

Reliability...
Review of Panasonic MS4B by
PaulHunt
Advantages: Reliable, good battery life, manual controls, good results
Disadvantages: auto white balance, auto exposure tends to over expose,
I own a Panasonic MS4B camcorder and have used Panasonic products in challenging domestic and industrial environments for several years. I am impressed by their durability and reliability when faced with use in extreme conditions of wet and cold and when subjected to less than careful handling.
I have no experience of their digital products, but having viewed SVHS footage edited in the digital domain I wonder if the additional cost involved is worthwhile.

Digital camcorders getting the best deal
Review of Panasonic DA1 by
jim001
Advantages: can also take stills
Disadvantages: can be expensive
As we all know more and more digital camcorders are being put on the market. They can range from £600 to over £1000, so which is the best to buy. Well i have been looking for several months and this is what i have found out. If you look at the camcorders you can get a Sony one for around £900 but you can find one with the same things and it will be around £650. Sometimes you are just paying for the brand name. Also if you shop around you can find ...

Review of Panasonic NV-DS8b by
Stefan
Advantages: Good quality, lots of functions, easy to use
Disadvantages: No scart converter, price variances.
...at an electrical retailer and without it you are unable to payback on most moder TV's. When I contacted Panasonic they were extremely uninterested in my comments.
It is also worth shopping around as the price varied by a much as £100 with the big retailers giving the worse deals. ...

A good all round digital video camera
Review of Panasonic NV-EX3 by
dannyw
Advantages: compact and easy to use
Disadvantages: the software that comes with it for transferring pictures on to the pc
The Panasonic EX3 bought 2 years ago for it's weight and size. Then the smallest & lightest of all video cameras and it's multi functional role in digital editing and effects it certainly was a good buy. The intention was to pull alot of the pictures from the camera to the pc. The software package to transfer your pics to the pc was out dated we feel and we learn't later discontinued. So we are stuck with yellowy, dark pictures in bmp format and ...
