Panasonic NV GS11
Review of Panasonic NV GS11 by mountainloz

Advantages: ease of use - size
Disadvantages: low light filming

i have had this camera for a few years now and it has been excellent for me. i have done wedding videos to dvd, promotional dvds for businesses, christenings and holidays, and have had virtually no problems the only downside i've had is filming in low light, eg. wedding night parties, but i have no frame of reference as to how well it compares to other cameras, with the filter threads a wide range of lenses etc are available to enhance your videos, ... Panasonic nv-gs11b
Review of Panasonic NV GS11B by lesleyanne18

Advantages: Great Quality
Disadvantages: Poor Battery Life

...new video camera - A panasonic NV GS11B - An excellent camera for personal use, Made in Japan I am using this camera to video a fictional crime scene - an assignment. And having never using a video camera before i was dreading even touching it incase i done something wrong. The Packaging before i purchased my camera I read through the packaging to find out all the features which were included, and i personally really liked how the packaging was ...
...its just too much, so panasonic got my attention and got the sale. The Look of the Camera The camera was silver in colour with a faded black surround and a rubber eye area where you look through. it has an on and off button and photoshoot mode, quick start button and a volume control slider - these are the main controls on the outside of the camera. Thankfully it was all easy to understand as they all had labels to tell me what each thing did. ... Read review

NV GS60 Panasonic Camcorder
Review of Panasonic NV GS60EG-S by xia1

Advantages: Good Zoom, easy to use, good picture
Disadvantages: Didn't include DV cable, uses battery charge fast

I have owned the NV GS60 for over a year now and I am still happy with its performance. It hasn't broke or stopped working at all ever. It has a good 30x zoom. It came with 6 tapes to record on and i bought it off Amazon for £114 pounds. It has a 2 inch Lcd optional screen or you can use it the normal way. It isn't hard to operate and i found easy to use, within a few days i was recording, editing and using clips on the internet! It was a shame ...
...buy that seperately. Mine came with a Television cable but dissapointingly not with a DV cable which is neccesary to connect to your laptop or PC. The battery doesn't take long to charge and after an hour it's about done. But it used the battery charge pretty fast so i had to charge it again. Also it's a bit of a fumble putting the battery in the camcorder. I was going to buy a tripod but didn't bother as i had already started filming. My whole ... Read review

very good low end solid state camcorder
Review of Canon FS100 by cheapomulti

Advantages: good picture quality in most aplications, very light ,good batery life
Disadvantages: focus can be poor in very low light recordings

...under £200 which for a brand new model isn't too bad but I suspect this is a vision of the future and all camcorders will go solid state soon and the price will come down to ~£100 like the base level Minidv camcorders from JVC and Canon have done. ... Read review

The first HD worth buying
Review of Canon HF10 by ianux48

Advantages: Stunning quality, easy to use, compact
Disadvantages: A bit pricey, standard battery life just OK

...the plunge and buy the Canon HF10. Having spent a few days getting to know this product I an very pleased with the camcorder in general and the results, its not perfect, but certainly one of the best flash memory camcorders available. The palm sized unit is small and despite its plastic case seems to be reasonably well built. I find it very easy to use, although Canons menu syatem is a bit different to what I have seen on thier still cameras. Image ...
...is fast, image stabilisation (optical) also seems to work very well. The camera has 16gb of internal storage built in and accepts SD cards for additional capacity. Battery life is OK around 60-70 minutes, I got a spare battery to be on the safe side (higher capacity batteries are available but stick out of the rear of the camara and spoil the lines). Unlike many similar products, all the connections are on the camera itself so there is no docking ... Read review
