Disadvantages: a bit large on size somewhat heavy, no viewing lens just a screen

This is generally a good all round camcorder I have read reviews that the LCD screen can get dirty with fingermarks etc, but that can be easily cleaned with a damp tissue, it has excellent quality of picture and colour when you view the tape back, its a good buy if you want optical zoom rather than the digital that is offerred nowadays, as optical zoom allows the zoom on the whole picture not just digital enhancement. ...The menus are aesy to navigate through and it has quite a few photo features, i still haven't figured out how you can take still shots on it, but I was told that you could. The only downfalls I would say are the size and the fact that the battery cannot be charged unless it is in the camera and the camera is not being used, there is no seperate charger. I have one of these camcorders at home, and being a disabled person I find it lovely to use,, and also very comfortable from the point of someone that from time to time uses a wheelchair, It handles very comfortably,, and that is the most important thing about a good camcorder or camera. I have owned the NV GS60 for over a year now and I am still happy with its performance. It hasn't broke or stopped working at all ever. It has a good 30x zoom. It came with 6 tapes to record on and i bought it off Amazon for £114 pounds. It has a 2 inch Lcd optional screen or you can use it the normal way. It isn't hard to operate and i found easy to use, within a few days i was recording, editing and using clips on the internet! It was a shame ...
...buy that seperately. Mine came with a Television cable but dissapointingly not with a DV cable which is neccesary to connect to your laptop or PC. The battery doesn't take long to charge and after an hour it's about done. But it used the battery charge pretty fast so i had to charge it again.
