Less famous than other books by Donaldson, but a corker.
Advantages: well written in rhyme, flaps aimed at younger kids, traditional feel
Disadvantages: not as instantly recognisable as being from Donaldson.
My children are suckers for books, and we have a small selection of authors who are absolutely favourites, with Julia Donaldson being our absolute favourite. This particular book of hers is from the year 2000, and it is not one that is as commonly known ...
