Nice book
Review of After the Storm - Nick Butterworth by streetsmart

Advantages: Nice for kids to learn about storm
Disadvantages: nothing

I love Nick Butterworth's book. I generally purchase books for my kid but I also love reading these books. These books show friendliness between Park Keeper Percy and all the animals lives in the park. Its really wonderful, it teaches our kids to live with harmony with animals. Percy was sleeping in his hut one stormy night. In the morning he found that the old oak tree where his animal friends have their home is blown out. All the animals were worried. ...
...all the animals. New house was superb and all love their new houses. I have read almost all the books in this series. My son always saw at the back of the book for other titles and ask me to purchase one which he has not read before. Its really very nice and clean book for kids in todays world where everywhere lots of violence and bad language is started in kids books and cartoons. ... Read review

When Oscar's ...
...the children are getting out all of the pans from the cupboards and generally making a horrendous mess! Full of humour and energy, it is no wonder that Blake is such a famous illustrator. ~ Style and Format ~ Children from as young as 2 enjoy this book. It's the interactive nature of it that appeals to them but just be armed with ear plugs if you decide to read it to a larger group as they do really 'All Join In'. Each rhyme is allocated two ... Review of Amelia Jane Series - Enid Blyton by rojm

Advantages: a great read for young girls

...old fashioned. We saw the Amelia Jayne books and bought her one I didn't think she would actually finish it, she did over a weekend. She has since read a second one and is on to her third. The books are about a naughty doll who plays tricks on the other toys and they get their own back. To a young child these books are very interesting and make great conversation if you like to chat about what they have read. If your little girl likes reading or ... Read review
