Best Friends
Review of Best Friends - Jacqueline Wilson by Bestestfriends

Advantages: A very funny book, getting children in hysterics
Disadvantages: Nothing to be displayed!

Personally, i love the book Best friends.I always play Gemma and Alice with my best friend and we always have a lovely time, Jacqueline Wilson has definately made sure that readers will enjoy it. It is fairly heartbreaking and did bring tears to my eyes. Gemma really misses Alice when she moves to Scotland, they had been together for a long time and miss each other very much.Alice is very quiet and very calm, the type of girl who would probaly enjoy ...
...on they are best friends forever in their hearts, but make other friends too. Like Alice made friends with a girl who likes to show - off alot called Flora, and Gemma made close friends with Billy McVitie, otherwise known as Biscuits. They surely will have a happy ever after. ... Read review

well worth it
Review of Candyfloss - Jacqueline Wilson by meeeee4

Advantages: good plot, belivable characters
Disadvantages: better for younger readers/listeners. 10-15

This is a funny, heart warming novel, but can bring you to tears. written by award winning children's writer Jaqueline Wilson. Splitting her time between her parents is natural for the main character Floss, spending 5 days with her super-organised efficient mum in their "posh white" house with her stepfather and baby half brother, and spending the weekend with her cuddly but irresponsible father who runs a chip shop. this suits her perfectly fine ...
...the morning of her birthday. "steves got a promotion at work Floss, in sydney!" Once Floss gets over the shock and excitement of it all, she begins to worry about school and her best friend Rhiannon whos "most popular in the whole school andshes the prettiest and everyone wants to be her friend but shes my bestest friend ever" Floss then realizes that she will be leaving ehr dad behind in the move. she spends her birthday with him and doesnt mention ... Jacqueline Wilson's Cliffhanger
Review of Cliffhanger - Jacqueline Wilson by Deniisee_x

Advantages: Its a good story and easy to read
Disadvantages: None

Jacqueline Wilson's Cliffhanger is a great novel. However, this makes for a more confusing read than the normal Jacqueline Wilson stories. I found there were so many characters involved in this read and I became confused. When I was just getting used to the fact that there was only Mum, Dad and Tim, Several other characters appeared in the storyline which added greatly to my confusion. Apart from this critisism, All in all the book was a good read, ...
...what was actually going on. In connection to the main character Tim, my view is that there are fairly enormous gender issues surrounding this little boy with regards as to how his mum and dad parent him. My understanding of this is that although mum is happy initially to have Tim a mummy's boy, and portrays relative conflict with dad in this issue, It becomes apparent throughout the storyline that eventually mum realises the importance of dads role ... Advantages: It has a really nice story about friendship
Disadvantages: It's only siotable for girls

Girls In Love is the first in the series of four books by Jacqueline Wilson, it is followed by Girls out Late, Girls under Pressure & Girls in Tears. It's all about three girls, the main character, Ellie and her best friends Nadine and Magda. It follows the ups and downs of their lives as teenage girls, with the pressures of boyfriends and Ellie trying to come to terms with the death of her mother and having her new stepmother Anna and half brother ...
...nadine's boyfriend starts causing trouble. this books shows how important friends are and that it's always good to stick close to them. It really does how what life is like for teenage girls very well indeed! Its a brilliant book which I would recommend for 11 to 15 years olds. ... Read review
