The Kitty is let out of the bag...
Review of Secrets - Jacqueline Wilson by Amy69

Advantages: detailed, descriptive, not too long
Disadvantages: can be slightly hard to follow

...Conclusion Secrets is a splendid read, providing you are able to follow the two characters' stories without too much difficulty. It goes into great detail and is very well written and worded too! Though, I would not say it is Jacqueline Wilson's best, it is still one I would recommend! ... Read review

well worth it
Review of Candyfloss - Jacqueline Wilson by meeeee4

Advantages: good plot, belivable characters
Disadvantages: better for younger readers/listeners. 10-15

This is a funny, heart warming novel, but can bring you to tears. written by award winning children's writer Jaqueline Wilson. Splitting her time between her parents is natural for the main character Floss, spending 5 days with her super-organised efficient mum in their "posh white" house with her stepfather and baby half brother, and spending the weekend with her cuddly but irresponsible father who runs a chip shop. this suits her perfectly fine ...
...the morning of her birthday. "steves got a promotion at work Floss, in sydney!" Once Floss gets over the shock and excitement of it all, she begins to worry about school and her best friend Rhiannon whos "most popular in the whole school andshes the prettiest and everyone wants to be her friend but shes my bestest friend ever" Floss then realizes that she will be leaving ehr dad behind in the move. she spends her birthday with him and doesnt mention ... More from Beaker
Review of Starring Tracy Beaker - Jacqueline Wilson by London_chic

Advantages: Good for under 12's
Disadvantages: Is not that grabbing compared to the rest of her books.

I am a big Jacqueline Wilson fan but I found this book was aimed at younger readers rather than teen with no gripping story line unlike all the other books of Wilson's I have read. Its a carry on from the last two Tracey book s "The story of Tracey Breaker" and "Dare Game" both of which didn't really grap me. But I would recommend this for 12 years and under or for past readers of Tracey Beaker books and can not get enogh of her and her story. ...
...stopped reading it as it did not grap me. Other people might think differently but if a book doesn't grap me with in the first chapther I usasal move on to a different book. So I remonded you take one more point of veiw before ruling this book out. ... Read review

Sensitive and thought provoking, gripping
Review of Love Lessons - Jacqueline Wilson by Enchantedjen

Advantages: Deals with issues real teenagers could experience and offers support
Disadvantages: mainly for older teenage readers

An interesting and absorbing book that deals carefully and delicately with numerous sensitive issues which teenagers could possibly face in todays society. I recommend it both to teenagers and parents who wish to buy it as a gift for a loved one. I would certainly read it again and my sister who is slightly younger than me has also borrowed it to read and also enjoyed it thoroughly. The storyline is interesting and thought provoking and I felt genuine ... Read review

...and bad. As they face the difficulty of moving house that they think will be better for them and the new baby's they get there they realise the picture they were shown were taken a few years back and the house is no longer in good condition. There's Martine, Jude, Rochelle and Dixie. Four girls, four different fathers. But only Mum lives at home with the girls. So that makes five Diamond girls. This is such a great book and I would recommend it to ... Read review
